Hi Luka,

We are contacting you regarding bet ID BH5027413110F placed at the odds of 1.90 on Over 143.5 (Total 2-Way TOR Raptors @ MIA Heat). We have identified that this selection was placed at incorrect odds and as such, in accordance with our rules, this selection has been made void as the correct odds were less than 1/1000.

Bet365 always does this, they had the Columbus Blue Jackets @ -300 leading 3-1 with 4 minutes left in the 3rd. Of course they retracted the odd later in the night after people emptied their bankrolls on the -300.

But I can guarantee that if somehow Philadelphia came back and won the game they wouldn't have given money back because of a "bad" odd.

This is known as a "palp" or palpable error. All betting sites will have a line somewhere in the t&c saying they can void bets if they make a mistake. Fwiw if you regularly bet on obvious palps then you're pretty likely to get your account banned.

take a screenshot before the game and escalate it if they muck around doing this sort of nonsense.

Lucky I stuck with the handicap on this game 1.95 @ -4.5 (hope it wasnt a palp also

If they just always void these are there any shady sites that will freeroll you? (Void your bet if you win but in the off chance it loses just keep your bet)

Anybody ever had that happen?

Have had it happen a few times, but I don't think it was intentional. On some small sports and props nobody notices and you just get paid on these. Unless a book checks every bet against pinnacle or market avg every time they are not going to spot that the wrong team is favored by two goals in some 3rd division croatian soccer game, and if it's an off screen book nobody else will spot it either.

Yeah don't bet this stuff, there's no upside.

I bet on a basketball line at Paddy Power ages ago, line was -7 there and -12 elsewhere. They emailed me (but i'd gone to bed as am from UK) asking whether I wanted to cancel the bet or accept -12. Result came in at like 9 so my bet won but the -12 would have lost, they settled at -7 but at odds of like 1/6.

Every bet I tried to place after that had a max limit of like 20p, so haven't used them since. Betting on this stuff is the quickest way to get banned and you don't win anything for doing so.
