I have never paid for a service, but there are credible handicappers out there charging for plays. I know for a fact that the best (arguably) NCAAB guy out there recently got offered a ridic amount in free plays to shut his service down and go private for a very sharp guy who runs big money.

By the way, this very sharp guy's service is totally worthless to buy, at least lately. They were trying to get stuff off without the heinous line movement he causes by being public. He turned them down.

Just a heads up in case anyone gets a mail from this scamming POS.

He'll offer a week's free trial for sports tips, mainly baseball. Then he'll ask you to sign up to a 'Gold Plan' for some ridiculous sum. He'll then drop this price the following 2 days.

On the 3rd he offered a money back guarantee if he went 3-0 that night and I signed up for a $99 1 year deal.

I paid via PayPal and he duly went 2 and 1. I asked for my money back, he tried to fob me off, saying he'd send a cheque on the mail, like its 1986. Then point blank refused and became abusive when I demanded a PayPal refund, saying he was going to 'punish' me for daring to ask the guy to keep his word...

It's not going to kill me but wanted to make people aware to avoid like the plague. Can provide email convos if people need further evidence of scamming.

Because I don't live in America, thus no good. The guy then tried to say this was in his terms and conditions which were in fact non existent. It's 1.5 minutes to log onto PayPal and return payment. He just wants to keep the cash.

You actually won. Your tout story is nowhere near as bad as it normally is out there. Your story is like going to a meeting of sexual assault victims and seeking sympathy over how the mailman/woman commented on your physique one time.

Every sports season people get scammed out of thousands of dollars in "fees" and perhaps lose much more on losing wagers.

Suggestion, never pay for a tout of any kind. Alan Boston will give away his college basketball picks for free.

Got emails from him during March Madness. Free trial went like 1-6 and told him to get lost. Still sends emails bragging about winners after they win

Yeah, $99 won't kill me fortunately and of course I was taking a shot on a bloke's honesty. My bad. If posting here saves someone's cash and makes others aware that he's not to be trusted them that's good enough for me. Ideally PayPal will boot him after I send them his mails informing me he's cancelling my service and stealing my money.. We'll see!

They tell 50% of the people to bet on the fav and the other 50% they tell to bet on the dog.
