Only took 3 years of betting this guy for the payoff. Totally awesome idea of my buddy and I to decide before the season began "Let's bet MAAAATTTT JOONNNESSSS every damn week until wins. At the worst we lose maybe 7k a piece on the year"

Kind of speechless he actually won seeing how on Saturday I sent the buddy the following text while standing in line getting meats sliced at Publix

"God damnit. Triples a hole. Oh well. Fk this ****"

"Son of a bitch at that triple bogey. He would have been 4u again without that and in 2nd place. I need Kuch to choke and a Martin Laird Texas Open 9u final round or Rory McIlroy 11u Quail Hollow type final round. At least this is a course that can give that up."

I think the most impressive part to this, is the fact you stayed the course & saw it through. You believed in your edge. Take's a whole lotta belief to get thru 3years of losing & still believe that ur getting the best of it.
Absolutely awesome. Gimme som1 thats got decent odds on a top10 finish at Augusta, so i can sweat sumthin during the tradition unlike any other? Plz?

Jeez Louise. Looks like +$82K+ on those wagers.

On a related note, I learned today that there's a golfer named "Matt Jones."

I haven't won a pre tournament outright bet in close to 3 years, and I play a handful every tournament and usually not long shots either. Congrats.

thought this would be about taking lesnar +4000 over undertaker (which closed as a favorite)

biggest line swing in history from +4000 to -500?

And what was the max bet on Lesnar when he was +4000, and how much money was required to move the line that much, I assume rigged wrestlemania matches can't have higher limits than $50-100 per hit?

no idea but 5d had $250 limits on WM a couple years ago. i haven't been on their site in a while [banned] but still archive the lines

it took about 6 minutes and 13 line moves all towards lesnar to move that much. there's pretty much indisputable evidence people know the outcomes and bet them but i guess 5d doesn't care since the people will lose the money anyway betting on other things

tho there was that huge controversy 3 or so years ago with a WM result that caused 5d to eventually pay out both sides of a bet [after refusing to do so for a week] and led to some hilarious tony chat logs

I bet Lesnar +1300. I had no idea it closed at -500 or was ever +4000.

The reason: I hadn't watched wresting in a decade but did follow some on the the Ultimate Warrior stuff here and there over many years with his lawsuits, blog post, the self destruction DVD, his political rants, ebay auctions etc. Him getting inducted in Hall of Fame after all that, I watched for that.

I then watched the next night but was blind - Daniel Bryant I never ever heard of, but I did read the articles about how 5Dimes recently had all the winners massive favorites.

I loaded the odds and seen two where the underdog won. Just before the match there was something crazy like HHH wins initial decision -320, wins end of broadcast +1900. This initial decision part didn't happen (at least that i seen) so someone was betting wrong info. Then Cena was an underdog too and lost. I was like well that's two underdogs. I did know McMahon had wanted to push Lesnar a long time ago really hard before he left, and now he's back and Heyman is too. Undertaker is old and also super loyal, he would put over a guy if asked. So shock value? With 2 underdogs already winning and this at +1300 I figured might as well try it.

First and only WWE bet I ever made too.
