I don't know why, but I'm in a good mood and am going to help you out. Instead of that ridiculously long OP, here is what you could've posted............

1. What is the best sportsbook to watch sports? Any specific thoughts on the Hilton? Is there an option other than cab to get around town(all the way from Hilton to the M)? Which book offers the best(least amount) of juice for each sport?

2. What is the point of having a players' card for sports betting? Do any books offer comps?

3. If a line moves while you are in the process of making your bet, do you get the old or the new line?

4. Where can I find the betting limits for different bets at each book?

5. Do live sportsbooks use online books to help adjust their lines?

6. Will books sometimes allow you to bet over the betting limit if you take a worse line?

7. Which books offer prop bets and what are their betting limits?

1) Bally's. No slot noise there. Rent a car, that's an expensive cab ride.
2) so they can track you. Probably not.
3) dunno
4) by asking them
5) probably
6) probably not, but you can get back in line and place another bet at the limit again, they have the option to move the line in the interim.
7) dunno.

Thanks for making this reasonable.

1. Caesars is a blast to watch sports. I am also a fan of watching at the Aria

2. Most books wont even accept my players cards anymore. Back in the day they treated players very well... I think those times are finished (at least for casinos i frequent)

3. I believe it will be at whatever the line is at that moment. This has never happened to me so im not sure

4. I know there are some websites for this, just not sure on the names. Id say best bet is to hop from an MGM/Harrahs casino

5. I doubt it

6. Yes I have heard of this happening

7. Most bigger casinos allow props, they just usually dont come out until the game appoaches

Guys, anyone can tell me which sportsbook has the best odds in terms of Moneylines? I know during baseball season, one can get say +120 at ballys but that same team will only get +115 at bellagio.

Are all hockey moneylines 20 cent lines as in -130/+110? I assume all totals are 20 cent lines right?

Don't have time to answer the whole thing, but the Hilton is probably the best place to watch because they're the least stingy about free drinks. It's not a far walk from the top of the Strip to the Hilton, you just go behind the Riviera and you're there in maybe 7-8 minutes. If you're coming from the bottom of the Strip, the monorail has an entrance right inside the Hilton.

In my experience, South Point tended to give the best comps, but you have to bet rather large amounts and I think they switched their affiliation. They used to have the same lines as El Cortez but I think they now have the same as M and I don't know if that changed comps. I do know their video poker comps went way down last time I was there, but don't know about sports. A lot of times the books demand a player's card, it's to track your bets and decide if they want to reject or severely limit your action as a "sharp."

To compare odds, try this:

http://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/odds/las-vegas/

The lines are not always 100% accurate but they will give you an idea. A warning though, don't trust any of the handicapping nonsense on Vegas Insider, they are a dishonest tout service that misrepresents the records of their touts in a bunch of ways. One such way is by grading against lines that don't really exist. However their live lines feed does seem to be reasonably accurate.

You get free drinks all day with $10 or even $5 in horse bets. The Wynn might be a whole $20 but I've gotten them for $10 there more than once.

I was just at the Mirage last month and you had to place at least a $125 sports bet to get any drink tickets. Just ridiculous.

It's only $5 for horse bets though.

Go to any of the Cantor sportsbooks, Venetian, Cosmo, Tropicana, Hard Rock, or the M. They will take just about any wager amount you want on anything. Just be aware that if your going to be betting 3k plus on a lot of games they will want you to open an account. Stay away from all the MGM and Caesars properties as they usually have the worst lines and lowest limits. I live in Vegas so if you have any questions on any specific properties give me a PM and I will answer as best I can.

Can anyone tell me what are the limits for the sportsbooks in LV? I know limits in NFL are going to be high for almost every sportsbook but what about sports like MLB, NBA and NHL?

Is it true Caesars Properties only allow a max $500 wager in baseball moneyline? That seems to be very small if true. I heard that if one wants to bet bigger amounts, one would have to do it at Wynn, MGM, Venetian, LVH and Station Casinos.

Also, does anyone know if any sportsbook allow wagers on team totals in baseball? What about basketball? I know football probably allows it on the sunday night and monday night football.

Also, can someone tell me what are the maximum wager limits for MLB totals? I heard for Caesars properties, its only $500. But what about Wynn, MGM, Venetian and other places? What about NHL moneyline and totals? I'm more concerned with MLB and NHL.

Seinfeld is a timeless classic.

Also, the limit is sometimes 1k on some games. The bookmakers want balanced action ideally, a big bet will move the line as a result.

Would books take a 3k wager on an MLB total on a weekday game no problem? Also, is it true that all Caesars property... the maximum wager on an mlb game is $500 max? Also, this cannot be true in football season too right?

So the only place that has alternate runlines is MGM properties correct? Does anyone know if one can bet the super runline -2.5? I think stuff like this is only allowed in the postseason only?
