Yeah I mean they're definitely pulling tricks, and yeah I know some pull worse tricks. It can't be a misunderstanding at this point I'm afraid. But yeah I agree that I'll get my money at some point prolly, without trial (although it lowers my confidence that a woman sued them for this exact reason earlier this year).

I mean what I think is most likely as I've said ITT, that they don't wanna pull from their investments yet so that's why they're delaying, to try to get all the interest they can. Or perhaps I'll die in a month or two and they can just take the money bit by bit in the coming years as my account becomes inactive. I've looked up this stuff.

I mean they're prolly trying to be the best hypocrites they can and asking for like 7 documents from me in the coming weeks to make sure to verify my identity. I'm glad they're protecting the integrity of the game so carefully

Quote the statement where I lied.

And no i don't work for them. I just get a (genuinely sexual) hard-on for disputes like this. Based on the mass of player-bookie disputes of this ilk I've read up online, some people (1) have legitimate claims.

But the majority are simply (2) non-compliant/impatient around requests for evidence.

And very occasionally, the bettor is actually a (3) fraudster.

Based on your utterances, I'd say you probably fit into category 2 and, with a slight probability, category 3.

And I'm not going away. I'll pass comment when i see fit and you cannot deny me the (again, sexual) pleasure.

Okay fine, but wouldn't the bank have to suffer damages in case of fraud? So what is Bet365 getting out of so carefully investigating this aspect?

I already quoted the post where you lied. Or I guess to put it less harshly, you made a bunch of assumptions in a chain and all of them were wrong.

And I am not uncompliant. I'm simply stating that they've lied to me and delayed this process multiple times.

And I feel like you're off-topicking this thread cos Bet365 hasn't indicated that they're investigating fraud or anything like that. They've simply said they're verifying my identity.

But you know, sorry I got a little heated ITT. No reason to get angry at you I guess.

Inzaghi,

As I believe you've mentioned your bet365 hasn't been limited yet, let me explain to you how it works with UK bookies, for about the past year now:

Open account
Send documents to verify account
Your account is now completely verified and ready for deposit, wagering, and withdrawal!
Will I have to send anything else?
No, sir, all complete. Good luck!
Deposit
Make ~3 bets
Account limited to piss stain limits
Request withdrawal
Your withdrawal should be processed within 24 hours, thanks!

72 hours later, receive an email that you need to submit some documents
Get on live chat with Jayesh M.
I already submitted these
Sorry sir but we need you to send them again
Send passport and bank statement
Can you check these now please?
I'm sorry sir, that department is not available until tomorrow morning at 9 am, they will review them right away
Four days later, receive an email: Can you please take this photo with better lighting
Immediately take photo and send it back
I've already been waiting a week now, can you review it now please?
Sir, I have sent it to the appropriate department and it will be reviewed as soon as possible
Get on live chat with Poo L. the next day to check if they reviewed it yet
Sir, all documents are reviewed in the order that they are received. I assure you the verification will be completed as soon as possible
Three days later: Receive an email that your document has been approved but can you please send another photo of [random, arbitrary request] to perform with [random, arbitrary document]
It's been ten days now and they're holding $50,000 that you'd like to deposit to another site, and you know, actually put to use
Take photo of whatever it is they want, and send it to them
Don't even bother to get on live chat because what's the point
Seven days later they respond that the photo isn't clear can you take another that is more in focus
Except you're a semi-professional photographer and manual focused the goddamn shot
Oh well, take another and send it again
Ten days pass
Randomly, while out trying to enjoy life, recall that some ****ty scam UK bookie are still holding your $50kk
Pop on live chat with Lak**** P. to enquire
Oh yes sir that was reviewed last Tuesday, can you take the photo with [random arbitrary request] showing please
Why the **** didn't you tell me you already reviewed it? Ugh, **** it, nevermind.
Send another version of the photo
Now it's been three weeks and you've sent them four different documents, some with three different versions

At some point in the above repetitive scenario, you realise their "security checks" are not what they appear to be on the surface and they're just ****ing with you to hold your money as long as possible and be ****s

LOL that's an awful rigamole and I do sympathise with that position.

But based on the facts of this specific case, i can understand why Bet365 are delaying.
The facts are, briefly, these:

-OP opens an account, establishing address and ID verification in the process. (See OPs first post)
-OP makes a single deposit, places a solitary bet and wins a substantial amount. (See OPs third post).
-OP requests withdrawal.

Now these facts should, understandably, arouse the suspiciousions of Bet365 and urge them to question, more thoroughly, the evidence initially provided by OP. The following exchange transpires:

-Bet365 (responding to withdrawal request): I realise you already provided valid evidence in the initiation of your account but we want more! We want a bank statement (a scanned copy will do).
-OP provides scanned copy as requested
-Bet 365: actually we've changed our mind. We wanna digital copy of your bank statement instead. It's gonna take us 24 (later reviewed to 72) hours to verify.

Now I asked OP earlier ITT if there were any other exchanges and he hasn't responded. So assuming that the exchange outlined above is the only one of note, I think Bet365 have acted reasonably. Yes its annoying that they changed their mind in requesting a digital copy but, given the suspicious facts re this account, they should be afforded some leeway.

If OP comes back and says: actually ive had a whole bunch of other infuriating exchanges with Bet365 that Inzaghi isnt taking into account, then my position will change.

Also, now that the 72 hours has passed, it would be interesting to know if Bet365 have actually just decided to pay out.

I also i suspect some people ITT are filling the facts in with their own experiences. I'm merely going off the facts that OP (somewhat incoherently) expresses.

Now they've reviewed the bank statement, but now they're saying they only accept statements that have been sent through mail. So they've bought themselves another week at least.

Also they're saying I should take a photo of the bank statement. That way I think they're gonna say, when they finally do review it, that they can't make out some of the text and they'll ask to send another picture. So that gives them another week or so.

My bank kept saying that I can just take a screenshot of my online bank. Yeah sure I could, but bull**** fraudsters at Bet365 want it to get sent by mail.

These people are thiefs. Making up conditions as they go along to try to delay this thing.

I will get the bank statement by mail on Monday or Tuesday prolly, so the earliest I can get this approved is on Friday of next week.

They told me also they don't accept it cos it's a PDF document. I don't know what other form of document even exists.

Interesting that they didn't tell me earlier that they can't accept PDF. They told me the document was fine, they just would need 72 hours (but actually 96 hours cos they lied) to review it.

I mean I think it was that first they told me they can't accept PDF, then I called them liars, then they said that they can't accept a document that hasn't been sent through mail. So it's like they changed their story.

I asked them about JPG and they said it should be fine. I still doubt it though.

Digital photo means that I just take a picture on my cellphone and that should be good, right?

JPG should be available for just about every computer to open, right? I have Windows 10 but I'm wondering if they can claim they have Windows95 and they can't open it.

Yes

Just stay tight-lipped and compliant for now as it's the easiest path to tread.

You're right, sorry about that. From now on I'll try to do that.

2+2 has a 30-minute window though to edit posts, so I will have to do a new post if it's after 30 minutes.
