Can anyone recommend any good sports bet tracking apps (pay or free)? Have been using BetBud for around 3 years now and that app generally worked great they are apparently shutting down in a couple of weeks...

I'm in the same boat. Would also accept good spreadsheet templates.

I'm actually thinking of building a bet tracking app.

Do you guys care if it syncs with sportsbooks automatically vs. you having to enter your bets yourself?

I would think one with a manual entry would appeal to a broader audience.

Thanks for the feedback hfrog . That is what I am thinking as well. Now it's just a matter of finding the time to put it together .

Might consider giving users option to sync with sportsbook bets if feasible but if choosing between one or the other would agree that entering bets manually would appeal to wider audience (e.g., users who want to track bets they've made outside of online sportsbooks)...

Is anyone using an alternative similar to BetBud?

Also looking for a bet tracker. I only use one sports book so one that would automatically put the bets in would be ideal but anything would be great. Has anyone even got a spreadsheet template that I could manually enter the bets. I really am a computer ****** so the more simply the better

Besides the Excel Rich suggested, Rebelbetting has also a free Excel. I used it and I liked it.

There are also many web applications, but a lot of them - if not all are old or no longer working.

Here are a few that seem to be supported and active.

I use one called The Sport Pick. I've been pleased with it so far, it's free and tracks my NFL and NBA bets by success rate, total P/L, etc. Seems to be maintained as they respond to my feedback issues.

https://sportsaction.io is a bet tracking app that I work on. We've got about 35 books so far and support NFL/NBA/NCAAB/NCAAF/MLB/NHL, with Soccer and some more features on the way.

just make it yourself on excel. Its pretty easy, kind of fun actually, you can tailor it specifically for you, and change it on the fly as need be. I cant even imagine buying something to track my action.

The Action Networks bet tracking app isn't bad (for a free version tool.)

Getting back to this thread 3 years later LOL. Seems a lot of the bet trackers out there are UK-based - which in theory shouldn't matter too much as long as I can track the sports I need - but I'm not completely comfortable with trying those out for whatever reason. Looking for something simple so have been trying the Action Network's app. Seems OK so far and like the fact that it has push notifications but from what I can tell they don't track boxing (which I bet quite a bit on) and there's a lot of analytical, sports info, etc. crap I'm not interested in that you have to wade through to track bets... would prefer if the tracker was more of a standalone but it works OK for what it is.

SBRodds.com also has a relatively new bet tracker I'm going to try out. I always check odds there before making bets anyways so seems more convenient and entering bets seems straightforward. Also is able to track nearly all boxing bets I make. But I don't think it tracks parlays, manual bets, or bets not made at an online sportsbook. So I might end up going with a combination of Action or SBRodds for standard bets and Excel spreadsheet for any bets I can't do on Action/SBRodds.

I guess I could just do Excel for everything but honestly I've been too lazy to sit there every night updating those spreadsheets whereas I'm more diligent using app trackers...

You dont have to do it every night. I used to once a week which seemed to be the norm with everyone else I knew.

I made a few things in excel that I used to track every thing weekly and then another thing I made to track of all weekly numbers which eventually turns into your yearly numbers. Its easy to customize and has spaces for any conceivable bet subset you like and can be changed easily on the fly. Id be willing to give someone templates for small money/trade.
