Annual Wong teaser noob thread

Now that NFL season is back, I'll being the parade of people asking for obtuse generalizations on system plays.

Is it smart to make Wong teaser picks in the preseason? There's a half dozen games with spreads of 1.5 that I think would have value.

Re: Annual Wong teaser noob thread

I am thinking of doing only wong teaser this season. With 10k bankroll going to see if I can roll it up doing standard 100 dollar bet on each 2 team 6 point teaser. Not sure I want to do 3+ team teaser.

P.s kind of tilting how I forgot to deposit earlier and now trying to rush to deposit to place on today Pat -8.5 teaser. And finally when I have all the infor. for echeck on bookmaker somehow I click back and now everything disappear

Re: Annual Wong teaser noob thread

I probably going to spread my money around with bookmaker, Thegreek, and bodog. Doesn't 5 dime kind of trick you with bad 6 point teaser though I read from somewhere? Although haven't look on there for months now. Also with doing this teaser I want to learn to control my tilt and bankroll management when it come to sportsbetting and not tilt it all away. This is only for side hobby as most of my income is from poker.

5dimes isn't the place to be anymore, they shade out .5 and 1 point all the time which is worse than going -110

find places with 3 teamers at +180 and 4 teamers at +300

Re: Annual Wong teaser noob thread

This is what I got so far. look good? Said I wasn't going to do 3+ teamed but can't resist. didn't place a 3 teamed wager since bookmaker has +160. Going to deposit at thegreek next week to do 3 teamed on there since they have +180 I believe

If a game is -2 -105 most places, they will keep it at -1 -113 so that you can't tease it efficiently. Pinnacle does the same thing.

Re: Annual Wong teaser noob thread

Pretty shady, but I currently see several Wong teaser opportunities for week 1 NFL on 5 dimes at +2.5 -110

Irrelevant because you can't tease them yet there.

Does it ever get to the point where you can expose this strategy by teasing the other direction? I can imagine a situation where if a game was like -2.5 -105 everywhere, teasing the -1 to a +5 could work (even though you are breaking the crossing the 0 rule). I don't know, just thinking out loud.

Re: Annual Wong teaser noob thread

Crossing the zero is the worst thing. The whole thing about teasing from +1.5 to +7.5 is that you cover both the 3 and the 7, which are huge.

Re: Annual Wong teaser noob thread

Well of course you're not *supposed* to cross the zero because it has very little value, but can you imagine a situation where the %s for the -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (depending on the rules) give you a +EV bet on a teaser? I think it's possible, but I don't know tbh.
