Sorry for the long 1st post but hears my story anyway

On Saturday June 16th I log in to Americas Cardroom Sports book to place my bets on EURO2012 football (soccer) matches. In addition to the game odds I notice the option to bet on the over/under goals scored for the tournament has returned (which at this point every team has played 2 if not 3 games).

As this is a bet option open normally before the events start I assume that the totals/odds given are from today going forward. I see that Denmark has pretty decent odds at -2.5 goals and decide to put $500 on them not getting to 3 as they could well be eliminated that day and had already scored 3 goals in the tournament.

Now the fun begins. Denmark get eliminated from the event so I win my bet, or so I though. I log in to check my balance and find I have actually lost the bet!!! I send an email to support thinking an error has occurred, only to be told that there was no error and that Denmark scored more than 2.5 goals in the tournament (which they already had done already before I placed my bet). ACR's support response to me was along the lines of I should have researched this more before placing my bet and I could have instantly won!!! But alas, I basically just handed them $500 and now I feel at this point they are just stealing from me.

I would like to know if anyone has ever had this happen to them and did it ever get resolved? It was clearly an error in the software that allowed for this bet to be even available (or at least I hope it was).

That shouldn't happen. Gl with that, 5d uses same poker network and software as ACR. That'b the way to go if you play poker there.

As a resident of the US i am limited to where i can bet sports online and as a poker player on ACR it is very conveinient just to bet there as i know i will get paid. This has left a sour taste in my mouth and i refuse to do anything on the site until this is resolved.

Lol at them saying you should have taken advantage of the stale line. Wow. Ummm, no, you really shouldn't be doing that. Except that in this case I guess you should? Keep us posted. Interested how this one gets resolved.

Just a short update on the progress so far with this issue.

I have now sent 4 emails to ACR support in regards to this problem and have not even received an acknowledgment to any of them since they advised me in no uncertain terms I was "s**t out of luck".

On a positive note though, today I received a response email from the complaint I filed with sportsbookreview on 6/21 and have fwd them my bet ticket as asked. They said they would now run with this and contact the site. Not sure what what, if anything will happen on this but we will see.
