The price is right but DJ has no balls. He has cost me more money than any team or player in my sports betting career. The 2011 British Open still makes me nauseous to this day.

Seems like more of a brain issue to me. Having a brother for a caddy is just a terrible idea. When he has a bag thought his brother just confirms it. They think the same way. A caddy needs to have a different perspective not the same one.

Had DJ that tourney too. That was back when he shipped a tourney every year and bookmakers still put his odds in the 60/1+ range in majors. I felt real good going into Sunday. That Saturday I call up my golf gambling buddy who had DJ too, only to hear "Fkkkk it just had to be Darren fkn Clarke of all people for Dustin to get matched up with. This guy took down Tiger in match play. He's not gonna be afraid of anything. Dustin's gonna have to take it from him and I don't feel good about it and he's too much of an idiot." Yep it was a depressing Sunday, but at least I didn't have him at Whistling Straits back in 2010.

I'll never forget on the par 5 14th in 2011... DJ drove it about 310 in the middle of the fairway and shanked his second shot 70 yards right... That was all she wrote.

Read today that ever since 2006 when the Bridgestone became the warmup event before the PGA Championship, all who would go onto to win it played in the Bridgestone and finished top 22 or better. Kaymer, YE Yang, and Paddy all shot -1 at the Bridgestone the year the shipped the PGA Champ. Paul Casey was just top 17 and finished at -1. One time plz!

Added a two more:

Tiger to miss cut +100
Spieth -2.5 v. Mcilroy -120

Shipped quite a bit on the Spieth v. Mcilroy matchup. I can't see Rory playing well and holding up physically on a course like Whistling Straits after a layoff with the nature of his injury. Spieth has been a top 10 machine this season and has played well on courses conceived by the same course designer as Whistling Straits. Seems like free money to me (famous last words).

Anyone have any type of opinion on -750 for Spieth to make the cut? I'm thinking of making a small wager on it, 100-200 dollars. I've never bet on golf seriously but it seems like laying 750 to win 100 on the favorite seems good. No?

One piece to watch on Casey this week...I read there are something like 500 bunkers at this course, obviously tons that are not in play but still, thats alot.

Paul Casey is 194th of 199 qualifying golfers in sand save percentage. Somehow he's down there with Immelman, Reavie, Homa etc at only saving par on 38% of his sand opportunities. Miserable.

GL all.

Yeah but he's 50% from the most common distance. DJ and Bubba Watson were sub 50% the year the did well here. Just depends on of Paul Casey can up his putting to me. He'll need to

Other than vintage Tiger, even the best players miss cuts all the time. Golf is not like tennis where the best players (almost) always go deep in the tournament. Rory has missed multiple cuts this year as the #1 in the world.

-750 just seems too high IMO.

Eh, this is much ado about nothing. There are actually over 1000 bunkers on the course, but as you said, many of them aren't really in play. And I don't think there are any more bunkers in play around the greens than there are on any other PGA Tour course.

Besides, if he contends he'll be on the good side of short-term variance and convert 8 of 10 or the like.
