Strikes me as a trap game. On the surface looks like an easy bet on Cuse but they are 2-3-1 ATS as of late with one of their covers coming by a 1/2 point. Maryland has covered five of their last six and has really been playing well in February. Maryland needs this game badly if they have any shot of an NCAA berth.

This is also Syracuses fourth game since 02/15 compared to third for Maryland and they are on the road. Maryland hasn't left home since 02/15. I am staying away from that one. When a line looks too good to be true, it usually is

Soooooo close last night. Made the Maryland ML +190 part of a parlay which would've paid a total of 10u. Was very confident I could hedge on a halftime under bet on Maryland and Cuse. Cuse guys looked exhausted given what I noted above, especially Fair who has played nearly every minute of the last four games. Second half u69 wad free money.

Game ended up being a total push but if that last shot for Maryland went, would've been paid LOL. Cuse was ripe to be beaten, Maryland couldn't take care of.the ball. They still had eleventy billion chances to get it anyway. Under bets on Cuse have become a fave lately.

For tonight, Cleveland State -9.5 looks very promising. They are still the best team in college basketball ATS on the year and sans one game where their top scorer was out against the Horizon Leagues best team in Green Bay, have been a covering machine. In fact, they've covered every spread this year as a 9 point fave or more. Their opponent has shown flashes of decent play lately but is very inconsistent. All variables I see point to Cleveland State winning by double digits.

Wichita State -12 is another possibility as they have been.blowing teams off the floor lately and will likely be pissed about not being #1. It's a nationally televised.game so the Shockers could really put.the hurt down. Don't like that many points on the road tho so may pass. Need to see where the early $$$ goes.

You think Duke will lose at home to VTech? I'm not sure I'd even make that as a value play for lunch money. Duke is sick at home and Tech is one of the worst teams in the ACC.

Also hold off on Cleveland State. They have three key players who came down with the same stomach bug that sidelined Brynn Forbes (leading scorer) last weekend. Starting center, point guard and sixth man all either out or less than 100%.

That game has moved from a play to pass for me. Too many questionable variables.

Still liking Wichita State -12. Depending on what the first half line is on Duke/Vtech may play that too.

For tonight, Georgia Tech +6 is very promising. I love fading Notre Dame at home this year as they are terrible ATS. For the season the Irish are a pathetic 2-11-2 with one of their covers coming two months ago against Cornell who is one of the worst teams in all CBB.

In ACC play, Notre Dame has won one game by more than 6 points against the worst team in the ACC in Va Tech who they beat by 7. Quite honestly I don't think ND is good enough to win a conference game by double digits.

Since 01/07 ND is 0-5-1 ATS and needed a luckbox finish to push Clemson in 2OT. They are 3-9-1 ATS overall since that time. GA Tech has covered their last four road spreads. This is Techs third game since 02/16 while it's the fourth for ND.

Backing Tech with high confidence. Neither of these teams are very good and usually when two mediocre teams play, it's a close game.

St. Bonnaventure +2 looks good as well.but researching that one more.

I'm not going to argue that Georgia Tech is a mediocre team but so is Notre Dame and especially at home this year for all the reasons I noted above. As a home favorite, Notre Dame is 1-9-2 ATS with their only cover coming against Cornell who is the #329 team RPI-wise...of 349 total RPI ranked teams and is 2-22 on the season.

Notre Dame averages not covering the spread as a home favorite and home team by six points per game. Their only other cover ATS at home was against a struggling Duke team (at the time) as an underdog. The Irish are 12-5 at home straight up so a ML bet might make sense but right now they are -320 so not sure there is value there.

I fully expect Notre Dame to win this one but with both teams so blah overall, this has the feel of a grind it out game that won't get above double digit lead for either team. Really not sure ND is capable of blowing someone out given the fact their biggest ACC win so far has been 7.

Don't have time for detailed reasoning but rolling with Wisconsin Green Bay -5 tonight for 1.25u. Best team in the Horizon League who has beaten the hell out of their last three opponents by double digits.

Playing against an Oakland team that plays zero D and relies on shootouts. They have been horrid ATS at home lately. If GB wins they win the Horizon League. GB has had suffocating D their last three games.

My thought is GB rolls.
