That Cards win was huge for Eddy. Really a nice leg up heading into the CS given how much of a ****show this round was. I think every team that was a dog wound up winning the series. Honestly each game 1 really set the stage for the rest of the series...the Orioles big inning, the Cardinals comeback, Giants just being their typical selves and finding a way to grind it out and as soon as the Royals won, I thought they'd advance. You'd have to figure theyd at least win one at home and find a way to get another somewhere given the roll they're on.

I can't stand the Giants or Cardinals and will be pulling for the AL. I think the best possible series left is probably Cardinals-Orioles. That seems like an old school matchup that would be a lot of fun. Royals-Cards would be awesome too. The NL without either the Nats or Dodgers does nothing for me. Not as much star power, just teams who find every which way to win.

A suggestion for future years:

Naturally almost every shies away from the wild card teams cause it's a 1-game playoff and if they lose that 1 game they are done. Rather than picking A's or Royals in future rounds, should just be able to pick the AL WC team. This would probably create a wider variety of entries.

Ya, i don't mind picking the wc game, but in terms of future rounds I prefer picking the two teams as a group.

I agree pick it but if you lose, you still can pick next series otherwise you are toast
