Depends I think. If youre betting a ton on props and full game and derivatives its a little higher, maybe like one session? So 300ish hands? But Id say one bet is like an orbit or something. An experienced onlooker could probably tell if youre really sharp or really square with one bet and watching for one orbit.

you have to factor in the myriad of in-game bets and the like since in poker there is only one action or hand per round you can bet on, but in a game you can bet on multiple outcomes down to the next plan ran, timeouts left in a half and all other sorts of proposition bets. So not really something you can make equatable IMO

100 units. 100-200 if you wanna be safe. I feel like a lot of volume should give you a solid view on whether you are a winning sports bettor. NFL.... good luck lines seems super square if you ask me and unless you can somehow beat the expert line makers, consider sports betting a form of entertainment where you hope to come out ahead.

Personally I recommend Wong teasers. Can basically bet them almost blind through 3 and 7 and most likely you will come out ahead if you follow these strict betting spots. Hard to find solid wong teasers though.

If we say that 2% is a normal sized bet at even odds, you probably want to place 200 bets to confirm you have an edge.

If you sit with 2% of your roll and you expect to either double up or lose your stack every 100 hands, Im guessing you need to sit at 100 tables to confirm an edge.

so 200 bets is equal to 10,000 poker hands. Or 1 bet is 50 poker hands.

or

If we say that 2% is a normal sized bet at even odds, and you make 2% per bet. You are making 0.02*0.02= 0.04% of roll in profit per bet.

and if you sit with 2% of your roll and sit with 100 bb's and make 2 bb per 100 hands. You are making 0.04% of your roll every 100 hands

So 1 bet is 100 hands.

%%%%%%%%%

So im guessing you make as much profit and have similar volatility in 1 bet as you do with 50-100 poker hands.

200 bets, lol. This is a dumb way to measure your edge going forward in poker and even worse wrt sports betting.
