Don't really know what to do, opponent doesn't seem to 4bet all that much. But I believe the fact that I'm holding AK greatly increase the probability that he's bluffing (if he ever does in that spot)

You know what? I made a mistake. I thought the open was EP.

If the open is UTG, then it's a snap fold. If it's the HJ then it's probably close between folding and flatting. But since the open is CO, I'd 5bet this hand preflop. I'd expect a snap fold preflop. If he shoves then I'm not happy about it but I'm calling it off but I highly doubt this.

I mentioned going broke but it's when the UTG opens and I 3bet and SB/BB 4bets big preflop, that's when I go broke with AK often.

his sizing is pretty bad with anything and less likely to be a bluff than normal sizing would be. i'd be pretty comfortable folding unless i had a read he had awful sizing or were just really loaded to 4b bluffing 'good' spots.

why is his sizing sooo awful?

if we get it in and villain never folds we lose 20$ vs a range of AK+/QQ+
we win 35$ if villain folds so villain would have to fold about 36% of the time to breakeven

if you assume villain is only 4betting such a tight range and rarely 4bet/bluffing you can fold but in most circumstances it just isnt the case(people 4bet wider for value and 4bet/bluff quite often)


he is risking too much chips
making it smaller would highly increase the profitability of the bluff(bigger sizing isnt increasing FE too much)

If he's bluffing I think it's fine that he upsized it a few bbs considering we're 129bb deep. Standard $20-22 would get flatted quite a bit I think.
