Here is one for you maths experts out there, in 25 years of playing poker never seen this before! I was not in the hand can I point out.

Local casino playing 2€nl TH, 7 handed

We have fold around to the B he raises to 8€, SB folds and BB calls
Flop comes Ad Qd Td
both B & BB check
Turn 9d
BB bets 1/3 of the pot
B calls
River 8d
BB bets just over half pot bet
B shoves all in
BB snap call

Button show Kd Jd BB show 8d7d

A Royal and a straight in the same hand, what are the odds for this to happen please?

Odds are 0% if there is an 8d on the board and BB has 8d7d.

Man, I'm not a math guy, but this is a hand I would never believe unless I saw it with my own eyes. How unlucky for the guy that had the straight flush.

Apparently this is answer found it in a post from 2010

[quote] " The probability for you to get 98 suited, the opponent to get AK suited and the flop to come down to give both of you straight flushes is (4/1326)(1/1225)(1/17296) = 1 / 7 023 689 400 or 7023689399 to 1 against." [quote]

The guy with the losing hand was a real gent took his beat without a sign of tilt, I would have been banging my head against the wall.

There is a documented hand (Youtube) WSOP main event RF over AAAA which seems unreal.

This hand would have won the $710K+ Bad Beat at my local casino. The loser would have had $355K reasons to be smiling...

I have lost w/ AA on AQTA6cccsc board to KJcc. I think it was at nl100 back in 2014 on Ipoker. The real beat though was the fact they dont have BBJ. I'm on my phone so cant post the HH. Also who cares I guess.. just felt like sharing this blast from the past.

In a casino or home game, a million to one.

Online, even money

I was at another table in a room when a dude hit a Royal versus Q high SF. The hole cards of both players played so ordinarily it would have qualified for the bad beat, but the bad beat had been hit 3 times recently and the BBJP had been suspended until the gaming commission could review the tapes and authorize the resumption.

I would not pay a BBJ either with the rigged deck having 2 Qs of the same suit in it
