I was fairly new to the table and didn't have any reliable info on the BTN. I had seen that BTN wasn't nitty at least and wasn't afraid to be aggressive. When I flopped two pair on a fairly bleak board, I purposefully bet small to make it look like I was just trying to grab the pot. In my head it worked when BTN did a small raise and I was happy to reraise. When he called, I knew he had something and assumed it wasn't trips or I would have seen an all-in.
With the turn, I had a little bit of a straight scare, but thought it was likely I was still ahead and bet. With the all-in by BTN, I figured either he made his straight, he had a semi-bluff on a flush draw, or he had a smaller overpair like 10's or J's. Wasn't sure whether I should call or not - my action is below, but let me know what you think.
Despite the results, I think calling is obviously best. He'll have some combo draws with 2fds out there. He shouldn't expect us to have something so strong given we're the pfr.
flop sizing bad, way too small, probably just flatting his raise sometimes, but we're deep so re-raising is good
turn is a fold
Why are you folding? The call is weird on the flop. The shove on the turn is really polarizing because 7-8, combo draws, and sets are allin on the flop right? Feels like an overpair, flushdraw, or a made straight imo

Your flop sizing is pretty bad. Way too small. Quite happy calling turn - I think its pair+draws and stuff way more than nutted hands since they likely flat to jam riv imo
