Blinds are 2$/4$. average stacks on the table are 300$.

SB-400$
BB(hero)- 450$
UTG(Crazy french guy who opens very light).
Villain (MP) - 500$

Hero has K 6
UTG opens 8$. loose aggressive villain calls, small blind calls, hero calls.
POT ( 32$)
Flop- A 6 6

Hero checks, UTG checks, villain bets 16$, sb folds, hero calls, UTG folds.
POT ( 64$)
Turn Q

Hero checks, villain bets 40$. Should hero check raise or flat and check the river to induce a bluff???

The fact that he bet the flop makes me think he has at least a pretty strong ace or draw.

For this reason i would definitely raise the turn and valuebet most rivers. There is so much worse he would call with on the turn...

I think you should be raising this flop. As played raise the turn.

Raise Turn - a lot of cards - if you take it down it's fine since a lot of cards - spades and clubs that could make your life tough on the river.

Hero check raised on the turn to 45 $ and disappointed to see the villain folds almost instantly

If villain is quite wide here I'd prefer the raise on the turn, he can call with a lot worse.
