Villain 26\20 3b 7, raise cbet 20%. No special notes on him. Interesting how u maximize your value here? U put AA in your flop bet\calling range or its better to 3bet? Anybody donk this turn? How u play river? thanks.

On this texture I 3b the flop. Change the 9 to a spade and I prefer calling. If you b/call this flop you have a range that is easy to play against IP imo and it's hard to b/call flop w even strong draws so should balance w raising nut hands. Chk/c river and hate life if he overbets

I think when you just call the raise here (especially with an UTG open), you have a strong Ace at a minimum. So villain shouldn't be super happy to bluff you. I would just put in a sizeable raise here and hope villain thinks he can push you off AK or hope villain thinks his combo draw is doing ok vs AK or something.

you also have potential to miss out on cooler action vs AQ and 99 with certain runouts (K or club.)

def. 3bet the flop. He can have a draw which he can check back ott when just called.
And as spacecakezzz stated,we might miss value from his value hands,if a bad turn falls.

I think i like the suggestion of 3betting flop. There should be plenty of hands he can get it in with otf without us being worried of folding stuff out too often. We can have draws and perhaps a bluff once in a while.

I would bet just over half pot on river now and likely fold if raised.

3betting this flop actually looks very very strong given you are UTG, so I think against a bluffy opponent, you should let him bluff (as you did). A call indicates you have the lower part of your range and could be positioned to fold if the correct cards comes. Any very strong hand will bet the turn anyway and we still get value. A scare card doesn't really come all that often enough that would make him hate a strong 2pair/set/etc.

This may be unorthodox, but based on this logic, I actually like donking this blank turn card really small, like 1/3 of the pot. I think this would confuse your opponent enough to encourage further bluffing, cause any strong hand to raise, or any strong draw to raise as well. Meanwhile, we also get value from something like a weaker pair turned into a bluff trying to take control of the hand which would check back the turn anyway.

Pretty good spot to 3b flop IMO. You have a lot of nut flush and combo draws and some drawing hands (like KcJx or KdJd) that aren't quite strong enough to call a flop raise, but are draws to the nuts and can continue on some turns if you get called. $30-34 sets you up for ~pot on the turn if called and makes your bluffs neutral EV if he folds ~50%. Range-wise,

sets (9 combos)
KQ, KJ, KT, QJ, QT, JT clubs (6 combos)
KcJx, KdJd, KdTd, etc. (6+ combos...)

AQ is on the border - 3b/c if he overvalues hands, call down if he has a tendency to barrel off once he starts. Probably wouldn't hurt to always call AxQc.

I'm definitely agree with everyone above who says 3b flop.

But as played, I think it's a great spot to donk the turn. Villain has so many draws that he'd be happy to check behind. And there are times when villain will think your weak and raise.

c/f river.

if he bets you beat nothing.

I think this is the strongest case for the 3b on the flop. Your range should be pretty strong here and villain still raises.

3bet because the board is drawy and we are at the top of our range.

I suggest 3betting flop to around $35-$40 then jam that turn card, I don't like slow playing that board

3 betting the flop also. Jamming the turn if I've called the flop.

i really like villain's line up to river if he has QcJc, QcJx, JcTc, JcTx, JxTc, KxJc
hate it if he has A9, 99 or QQ

I would also 3b the flop. Your hand has too much value and can definitely get worse to call.
