strategy against player where every hand may be his last?

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to play against someone where each hand may literally be his last hand of his life. This player needs not concern himself with the long term averages of hands; regression back to the mean of winning/losing streaks; nor preflop hand distributons over long periods of play of time. This Player plays everyhand no matter his starting hole cards or action that has taken place in front of him. In a word, he is dying. So he knows that the law of averages will not apply because he could be playing his last hand with each new hand dealt to him. And he plays as if it will be his last hand ever which obviously he wants to win so he calls any preflop raise/all-in with knowingly the worst hand yet expects to win after all five streets are dealt. and he manages to always get there at hands river. and this is everyhand. I know that this player is "Loose/Weak" but any specific suggestions on strategy or just trying to talk him off the ledge?

Simple. If he's going to shove to shove any 2 cards, then call with any hand that has greater than 50% equity against a random hand. Possibly adjust if there are other players at the table and if the blinds or rake affect the pot odds.

Or, if he is magic and always gets there, then fold and leave the table.

Ask him to do flips but set these conditions.

1) You get to pick cards he doesn't.

2) No vig.

to get some seriousness in here.. lets assume we play hu and hes otb and jams 100% of hands

is it better to call with hand strenghts Q8o+ 22+ etc or just calling with a tighter range lets say 77+ ATo+

Depends on the probability of him leaving after a) you winning and all-in or b) him winning an all-in.

If these probabilities are low then something like the first range is best and if they are high you are better off waiting for a greater edge.

In reality these sort of guys often don't stick around for more than a few all ins so we should be choosing a calling range stronger than your first range but I would say looser than the second range you give.
