So what's everyone doing for fun these days? There's an old civil war battlefield near our house so we've done a lot of exploring that with the dogs. We're hoping to get a kayak soon to have some fun on the local rivers. I'm really into playing DotA2 and actually spend an embarrassing amount of time in that game. I'm still pretty big into drinking beer although I don't brew it near as often as I would like to. I've also started enjoying a lot of different bourbons although I don't know nearly as much about it as beer.

I'm still climbing a ton (like 4x+ a week). When I move to CO, I'm going to do more hiking and camping (not much opportunity here) + some other outdoors stuff. I did flag football this past season but we were awful and I don't think we'll be doing it again. We also do sand volleyball which is fun as well. I'm tempted to get back into BJJ but I've been dedicating all of my energy towards climbing and don't see that changing anytime soon.

I don't play nearly as many games as I used to; just the occasional sc2 game here or there (new Legacy of the Void is so so).

Possibly going to be in the Denver ish area on July 23rd.

Are you going to be in Colorado by then?

Sorry to hear you can't ride your bike anymore Keyser. That sucks! It's crazy how fast 4 years has gone by since black friday.

Since black friday, I started working for this military defense company (typical office grind job) which has been alright. I got back into bmx racing and competed occasionally in 2012 but didn't have as much fun with it compared to when I was younger. I saw this youtube video Dreamlines 4 by Jokke Sommer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GASFa7rkLtM) and decided I wanted to get into wingsuiting.

Fast forward 2 years later and I was able to meet all the requirements to start flying one. It's been an absolute blast full of happiness, fun, fear, anxiety, and every emotion in-between. This is in the skydiving environment... not sure if I'll ever get into BASE after exposure in this sport but that was my initial intent from the video. Risk/reward thing ya know... Who knows maybe one day. But if you've ever had a dream of flying and imagined what it would be like, actually doing it is exactly how your dreams feel... complete freedom

I'm really hoping I'll be there by then but it'll be close. Just PM me and I should let you know. It's possible I'll be there like a week after you are there (doh).

iCrushSouls, that's ****ing awesome! Be careful though! Climbing badass (and BASE jumper) Dean Potter just died, I'm sure you heard about that.

wingsuiting looks ****ing crazy. If you offered to pay me $1 million I wouldn't even do it, lol, too scared! Looks awesome though, pretty sweet. wait, basejumping is even scarier? Crap, wouldn't do that for $2 million

edit: pretty funny that someone asks what we're doing for fun and we get a reply about freaking jumping out of planes. I was just gonna post that I used to "ride my bike a lot, smoke e-cigs all day, play golf almost every day, read reddit, play pokers on the internets."

Wing suit is definitely the trump card.
06-21-2015 , 06:32 PM
Wingsuit is siick. Always wonder how fast you decline / fall watching those vids

yayyyyyyyy, Jordan Spieth is awesome! Wins two majors in a row at age 21 and has a hot ass girlfriend. He just tripled my net worth, lol. I said it was a $5 bet earlier but that was what my dad put on Tiger, he told me today he put $20 for me on Jordan (and he's got $20 for himself), so it's a BGnit quality of bet. $20 bet pays out $180, not too great, but kinda awesome if you're busto.

really sweet match too if you saw it. Super fun to watch all weekend, gave me something to do. Jordan was two strokes up on 17 then he makes a double bogey, then on 18 gets real close to an eagle and then makes the birdie. Meanwhile Dustin Johnson has a fairly close eagle putt to win the open, but misses it and even misses the next for a 3 putt to stop an 18 hole playoff tomorrow and give the win to Jordan. Awesome.

Jordan's got the best shot at winning the first Grand Slam ever and the best chance since young Tiger, you should bet on him but the payout prolly won't be great at the British Open.

I just edited out the bottom of that pic because I dunno if it's possible to steal it and take the money for yourself, lol.

Haha! Yay Keyser!. I put $20 on Spieth yesterday to profit $47 (I'm such a math fish I thought the $47 included my bet when I made the wager) Yay me!! Pissed I didn't bet him before tourney cuz I was strongly thinking about it. Spieth is the man. I like putting money on him because the dude is cool as a cucumber under pressure.
I felt sick for D.J. I would never feel bad winning the WSOP main event hitting a 1 outer but I know Jordan felt bad not to at least have to play a playoff. What a disgusting way to lose. I'm sure he swallowed a little puke walking away from the 18th.

Headed to Vegas Wed. morning to ship the $3k 6max. Wish me luck! I could use some life changing money.

Man, I was crushing this month then I had one of my usual play until 5am on tilt blow up sessions and dropped a few thousand. I'm such a ****ing tilt monkey. I always feel like I drowned a box of puppies the next day.

It seems like society is getting pretty PC, and stepping away from labels, so words like gay, lesbian, black, mexican, and whatever else they deem will be seen as rude.

I've decided **** those kids, in 30 years I'm going to say whatever the hell I want, just as I do now. I'm not going to be handicapped by theoretical future kids who think I'm an *******. **** them.

Using words like ******ed or *** should be completely acceptable if you're using it the harmless way 90% of people do. I use both words but I've never used either one when describing someone with down syndrome or someone who is gay/lesbian. I can't remember the comedian/s, but I've heard some good material on both words on how they should be acceptable because most people use them in context that isn't derogatory.

yeah, I do feel bad for DJ. Just read an article with a video here.

He's had some rough US Opens, back in the 2010 Open he "got hit with a two-stroke penalty after he finished when it was revealed he ground his club in a 'bunker' on 18." I remember that, it didn't even look like a bunker. Removed him from the playoff. He hasn't said much about this year but after the bogey he just walked away and didn't stay for the award to Jordan, but he does think he did well and he did "get to hold up my trophy at the end of the day, which is my son."

Saw Elephant Revival live last night. Very good, and both chicks are pretty damn hot. Been meaning to see them for awhile.

I'll make a bluegrass fan out of one of you yet:

Edit: I guess they consider themselves folk music. They definitely have some bluegrass, and world music influences, though.

Oh Hai, this is Keyser., I'm posting from a random screen name I used to have to avoid getting caught doing this.

I wanna talk about this girl who keeps texting me, but I've given her my 2p2 name and showed her my posts so she might just find this if I posted under Keyser.

so about two months ago I got a facebook message from this girl who i hooked up with several times back in 2005. She was married but just recently got divorced and is looking into dating our hanging out with some guys she likes. She was wondering what I'm up to and how stuff is going, so she had no idea I was coming off a surgery, living at home, with no money, can't drive a car, can't go visit her 250 miles away, etc. Anyway, he talked a bit and she's kinda attractive (this is a picture of her on Halloween):

So it was nice talking to her and I gave her my phone number to start texting. At first it was good, I think she's good looking (you might disagree...) and it gave me something to do and someone to talk to. I told her eventually I'll get back to normal and maybe when I can drive again in August I'll come visit.

Eventually it became weird because this girl texts me like 25 times a day, even if I don't reply, and what she texts is just random, boring facts that I just don't care about. Here's an example of some recent texts:

"My former husband is putting air in my tires after we met with the mortgage company." includes a picture of this.

"My stomach hurts. I think I ate too much guacamole."

"xxx (her husband's name) and I are dividing up kitchen stuff. He already bought Tupperware but won't have mine in for several weeks."

If I don't reply within 5-20 minutes she just sends another text about another random point.

She does this all day, even from work, and sends tons early in the morning or late at night.

I mean, I think she's just lonely and it does kinda suck getting divorced but why the hell are you telling me these random things?? So should I upset this recently divorced girl and be like "you seriously text me far too much, it's weird." Or do I just keep talking to her and not replying when it's boring or whatever. I dunno, I wasn't planning on staying anything, I was just going to go with this but meh, I dunno. I'm bored and if I'm watching a movie it's getting annoying to have to just pause it constantly and see what she's trying to say.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. Using the words as a reference to something that fits the description, however, not using in an offensive manner towards someone. Such as "That dog is ******ed", after a dog does something ******ed. I think you're right about the older/more jaded thing as well.

And Keyser, sooo ****in' sneaky. I'm going to let others handled that response.

Keyser. again. Sweet, thanks for the advice. I was wondering if anyone would give me some tips here! Yeah, we can't even sex until I can get out my house and drive and stuff so it's gonna be at least 2 months. And I dunno why I'm sharing this but back in 2005 when we hooked up, she would always give me blowjobs but use her teeth and I'd bleed after every one, lol. Even though I knew it if she came over again I'd be like "oh, I'll take another!" Hopefully she's better at that after being married for 8 years...

Nice line, lots of things people say reminds me to re-watch a video I haven't seen since before my hospital stay. Funny stuff.

Bloody blow jobs wtf, and some loneliness and security issues.

Stay. Away.
06-25-2015 , 05:33 PM
Bleeding after blowjob?

How do you not shut that down right away?

ya i just kinda suck at The Game. it's was rare for a girl I know to facebook me and wanna hang out. I'm 31 at this point and I've been with my share of girls I guess, but only had 3 girlfriends. One in high school, we broke up and she quickly married her ex-bf, one in college, she just dropped out from my school and went to her home state college, never really broke up with her I guess, the other found in Vegas but she was a doctor (technically a veterinarian) and she was like "ya I'm a doctor and you play a game online for a living, that's weird, ttyl."

not too good at this girl thing, dunno what to do normally.

If you like her and feel good when you're around her, dont listen to what some nerds on a forum say, do what feels right to "TheRick", ahem.

Either way, definitely get her to watch some instructional blow job videos.

The game is mostly about good conversation, confidence, and being, or appearing to be an interesting person. Don't get caught up in the tricks and gimmicks.

+1

I'd only add that being well groomed gets you pretty far, regardless of whether or not you're good looking.

There's a lot of very happy gays posting on facebook today. Good for them, I'm sure this is a big day. We don't have any here or no one's ever came out. I don't think gayness and poker go together.
06-26-2015 , 06:41 PM
Wait, I just remembered there was one gay dude who posted a lot in ssnl. Who was that?? He still around? We should get him in the life thread too.

Speaking of gays, I messaged goofyballer twice and that ahole hasn't come here yet. He was even worse with girls than I am, wonder if he got better....
