riverspot

V is 23/17 reg, he was opening 25% in that position. Had no notes or any history against him. His flopcbet was 83 and barreled turn 40 percent of time.

OTR I don't think I can rep enough bluffs to valuebet this. I might get value from worse queens but thats about it. Is it a checkback?

BTN: $181.73 (181.7 bb)
SB: $144.17 (144.2 bb)
BB: $103 (103 bb)
UTG: $97.65 (97.7 bb)
MP: $106.55 (106.6 bb)
Hero (CO): $101.50 (101.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q A
UTG folds, MP raises to $3.50, Hero calls $3.50, 3 folds

Flop: ($8.50) 5 9 Q (2 players)
MP bets $6, Hero calls $6

Turn: ($20.50) 7 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $14, MP calls $14

River: ($48.50) 2 (2 players)
MP checks

Re: riverspot

Why didnt you 3bet vs 25%?
I would bet close to pot on turn (also doing thsi with draws)
River is def a valuebet. I dont think he ever checks a queen ott tho (well wait given that ur like the biggest nit ever he'll prolly check but w.e) so I`d just make it 18$ and expect some heros by ttjj qj+.
even tho it`s prolly hard to hero for him given that ur prolly supernutted everytime u bet

Yes I think you should value bet the river here. Between 1/2 and 2/3 pot. Also of us fine imo.

Just because he opens 25% doesn't mean that he's defending the same range vs 3bets, he may only play AQ+ OOP vs 3bets for all we know.

$33 otr for me, villain looks like he has a bluffcatcher so put him to a decision imo

Re: riverspot

Easy bet on the river, 34/35

I'm also raising flop against anyone I have any aggressive history with, seems kinda like the nut board for it

KTs, JTs. I agree with you your range is very strong otr but his range is so weak as well (like what do we ever lose to vs a straightforward reg?) that I think it's ok to vbet. I'd go small though because our range is so strong, like 1/3 pot or so.

This. Definitely a great board to raise and protect your range when you do so.

Re: riverspot

You are already underrepping your hand, not valuebetting in these spots will make you a breakeven rakeback grinder.

Re: riverspot

Why isn't anyone considering raising (F)? Our hand is massively underrepresented and i expect him to give us action with many worse hands.

As played vbet (R).

because against a 23/17 we have no history against we're probably more likely to get him to fold KK/AA by the river than we are to get multiple streets of value from <=KQ

I might turned my aggro mode on writing this post. You're totally right. But i think it would be great if we had raised him couple times before.

Re: riverspot

Allright, I bet the riv about 26$ and got snapped against AA. This might be result orientedness but since his turn cbet percent is that low could that indicate he might be checking like everything but the flushes OTT? Can't imagine getting value OTR from TT/JJ since he's blocking alot of bluffs.
