passive fish overbets dryish river into our top set

villain 30/10/af 1.7/fvcb 59/chkraise 4/wwsf 39/river agg 26/call open bb 39 - 726 hands

this villain is very passive.....any argument for just calling river?

My initial read was that villain probably doesnt have 35s in his BB call range(maybe he does?)and that villain is much more likely to chkraise a set than a gutshot so we should shove to stack other sets.

K, what do we do here if we shove and villain shows the straight. Do we just start flatting overbets on the river with top set now orrr?

Ship river, if he has 53 its just a sick river for you. Would be a weird minraise on the flop with 53 and then check when he hits on the turn. So strangely played its impossible to get away from as you have the second nuts.

i was REALLY trying to find more straights out there on that board then 53.. are u kidding me? you giving him credit for minraising a flop with a gutter checking the turn when binks and then overbetting river?

also I'm almost always betting this turn as played, he can show up with a lot of top pair here and pretty easy to fold if he raises

Definitely ship. So many lower sets, two pairs, etc all call. I'd bet turn, too, but I guess I can see a reason to not do so.

You're burning money by not shoving.

If u dont understand the fact that this is the easiest shove ever i strongly recommand u to get the hell away from SSNL.

I really cant see why u have a decision, u will burn money if u keep playing at 100NL.
