Yeah it's not the best, and just the inability to play regs hu while starting tables will deprive me of a bit of profit. Lack of table selection obviously sucks too, but it'll be interesting to see what all the extreme bumhunters do - leave immediately or stick around until they're exposed for the -5bb losers that they actually are when they don't have a 60vpip to their immediate right. As for what I'll do, I dunno, people are still winning well in Zoom so that's an option, although it may become even more reggy, and then obv there are other sites. The no table selection thing may not end up being too bad also, will just have to see.

Hello everyone.

I am a cash game player (Mostly Zoom Poker), and I recently started 30-day Poker Tracker 4 trial.

I'm used to HUDs (used HM1 and HM2 for a long time), but my main concern isn't about the HUD itself, but the PokerStars T&C.

I wanna configure a nice and good HUD for Zoom Poker, but with only legal permitted statistics on PokerStars.

Can any cash game reg help me out, please? Any suggestions or hints are welcome.

What I have in mind so far (are these allowed?):

Line 1 - Name | Number of Hands | BBs
Line 2 - VPIP | PFR | 3-BET | FOLD to 3-BET | 4-BET | FOLD to 4-BET
Line 3 - C-BET | FOLD to C-BET | SQUEEZE | RE-STEAL

Btw, I play micro stakes - NL10 up to NL25.

I really appreciate any help, thanks.

Woud be great if players from the Spanish pool where "no table selection" will be tested, ignore for a while Pokerstars tables. May be Stars' ll change their mind due to traffic decrease.

Yea, because the stars boycott in 2015 was so effective.

What part is actually good for you then?

The bad bumhunters being driven out might give you a chuckle but wouldn't you rather be playing with them rather than good regs?

Or are you hoping for a couple of fish per table to offset the overall increase in reg ability? Seems like wishful thinking if so...

Unfortunately Ron I agree with DG. None of these changes are good for anyone, regs will move down stakes, bumhunters will still bumhunt (lets not kid ourselves), you miss out on starting tables (getting all good tables). Zoom games will also get more regs now. Traffic at cash games on stars is going to plummet, some recs are going to move to other game types/sites. And as i said in the fr forum, just wait for our 1% rb or whatever stars gives us when the VIP mechanism changes. You will 100% be worse off with these changes as will everyone else (not just table starters).

I never said it was a good change, and I didn't say any of it was good for me.

However, it is possible that recs will prefer this system to the one where every time they sit on an empty table, the table instantly fills around them. In any case, I can't see how it could possibly reduce rec traffic on the site.

As someone who doesn't script, doesn't decline waitlist seats when too far away from the fish and doesn't start games w unbeatable rake, my table selection actually improved somewhat (getting some godseats vs none!) while getting onto tables faster the way party did it. Amaya is probably gonna bring on a more frustrating system for it though.

They are bringing a "new and exciting" rewards system later this year. So yeah, I'd be surprised if rewards were at 10% by 2018.

I see two potential problems: one is that it's going to be infuriating, people just constantly sitting out and not playing if they don't like their table etc. It's bad enough at the moment, let alone when people don't even have a choice where they sit.

Secondly the apparent solution to this is to punish people who don't play. But honestly seems a bit ****ed if a weaker player is forced to continue playing at a table where they recognise they are the fish and want themselves to find a table full of 'fun players'. Clearly this is not looking out for them in that regard.

Maybe it's just wishful thinking, because surely there is business sense behind the series of controversial decisions, But it just seems to that all these changes mean that over the next year or so everyone's just going to leave. Like there's going to be at least one new major competitor for them to worry about this year, let alone all the other smaller sites.

I see as main problem the proliferation of Bots in Pokerstars, when datamining dissapear users are not able to help to get rid of them. By the way, is there not Pokerstars Thread on this Forum where they post their news? In other times, there was

Segregation is the way to go I guess. Put regs 'randomly' on the tables with other 'regs' while rec will be facing only recs. EZ game.

Lol. Just give people the freedom to sit where they want is what I'm trying to say. It's just going to turn people away if they have to play in games they don't want to.
