$48.73 pretty generous imo. I've played millions of hands at zoom and thousands in HU pots vs bots, and have received <$50 back life-time xD
Zoom hh mining was made possible through an exploit of some kind. It should not have been possible to observe every single zoom hand, as it was not the case for you as a player.
On regular tables though, any player can observe any table. They could decide to make hand histories not available to observers but that could potentially be circumvented. Long story short they probably don't care much either way.
