that thought cross my mind but seeing all the other bugs like missing HHs, VIP progress bar not updating, slower support etc -> just incompetence.
Basically what they did most likely was "we'll cut costs and expect the income to be the same".
Just speculation: we'll fire the current competent high cost IT dept and replace them with low costs ones, it's just programming how hard can it be to do, right?
Fire the current competent support staff, replace them with way less people who don't know much but can write a response in English, etc
What could go wrong with that approach?
People getting frustrated, Stars getting a bad image on forums and word of mouth, etc?
Sure, they lose 3x as much bc of that but at least some executive can say with pride "yeah, I cut a lot of costs, I am the man"
