06-11-2015 , 12:51 PM
Seems like there are 2 winning bots for every winning reg out there.
06-11-2015 , 01:09 PM
FWIW i already contacted stars about 2 weeks ago regarding in4themoney1, qwerpassword and allian28 all being potential bots and they got back to me and told me they weren't...

Doesn't mean theyre not using some weird software though, i dunno

i'd say that GTO decision based software would be worse because slowly everyone would get a hold of it and online poker would completely die

Would be so sick if this was true and that was the main reason for games getting tougher

Thought he was just an aggro fish, quite shocked to see he crush.
Cxlutters0xxx does that small 3b thing aswell and he's from the UK + there is at least one reg at 50 and 100nl on fulltilt from the UK that does it too

I was actually wondering a couple of months back if their was a someone that made a video about 3bing min in position with an insane freqency cause i've started to see it way too often

seems like they could be bots + I thought they were terrible which seems to be a running theme with these bot crushers

That's the other guy I was thinking about, thought they were terrible but seems to crush. The thing is they 3b min OOP as well, which just doesn't really make any sense with any range 100bb+ deep imo. Also, they don't always top up which someone mention as a potential sign. Anyway, just speculating, don't want to throw innocent regs under the bus.

start a skype group imo, not the best place to post SN's of potential bots

Half the regs from the UK are actually Spaniards.

Well if suspicions are correct and the plo bot ring exists as well as dexter and co being bots then obviously stars don't have sufficient methods to catch bots as iddqd was thought to be a bot from the very beginning, even by fellow russians
06-11-2015 , 04:42 PM
Yeah I'm still quite sure that they are. Maybe they didnt even look into it..
Would like if a stars rep saw this discussion though. Maybe they dont look into it too much if only one person reports it.

The fact that dyno has won almost 500bi at 100nl and has never played a single hand of 200nl is more than enough evidence that he is a bot

and the fact that he never chats

i reported dyno almost a year ago and stars said he wasnt, still think he is though.

however clutters is just a ******ed version of dyno, having him in the games isnt a bad thing.

There should be a running list of NLHE crushers who suddenly disappeared and those who are currently suspected of being bots.

I made this post in the SSFR forum:

The advantage of having a Skype group is that it wouldn't reveal to botters that their account is under suspicion, but does that really matter?

I think we need to discuss ways to detect possible bots (high volume/appearing from nowhere/million+ hands crushing 100NL and 0 hands at 200NL, specific stats, etc.) and start looking at certain players (including those who have vanished from the tables). We can also discuss other stuff such as what we think Stars should be doing (preventing grinders from withdrawing an excess %age of their balance(??), additional regular checks of some sort on all high-volume players- e.g. web-cam captchas(??) etc.)

What does everything think? If we need to do this then which is better- thread or Skype group?
Do you guys think it's worth doing a combined FR/6M Skype group?
06-12-2015 , 06:38 PM
Would be in for the skype group. Maybe one group for general discussion then a seperate group for anything groundbreaking/ trends noticed so its easy to keep up on/ keep contributing.

Also @MX, message stars obv if you've found an indicator stat.

Presumably it's possible to restrict who can add people to a Skype group? Participants could first be vouched for by others? I could oversee the initial SSFR players who wish to join, if someone here takes care of 6M players.
