Re: *** OFFICIAL 2012 STARS REGS THREAD!!! ***

100bb should be 24 seconds and deep should be 28. making everything the same as fast is not good.

Before going forward with this, we would like to hear your opinions on this suggested change in general and also on the specific speed we are suggesting for your particular game.

For Micro to Medium Stakes NLHE, we present the following proposal :

Players will still be able to use their time banks as before.

I will review this thread again in about 24 hours and then take your feedback to our team in order to make a final decision.

I would be most disappointed if they change all tables to 'fast' tables. I play 12+ tables at 200nl atm and the fast tables makes it incredibly hard already to think in tough spots and I am only playing 4/5 of them in amongst normal speed tables max now. If they were all fast, I would be seriously angry. Would probably consider moving money off the site and looking elsewhere. There's no benefit for the regulars in making them all fast tables and I don't see why you'd want to change this...unless it's a ploy for stars to make more money by increasing the hands p/h

i dont see the need to change at all, theres fast tables for people to play them and theres normal tables for people that want to play them... people should be still be allowed to make the choice
and also if they want speed poker.. they can just experience that at zoom.

You don't see why a business would want more hands/hour to be played?

cant u at least find a compromise... somewhere between the time for fast and normal tables.
having all tables as fast is gonna suck

i don't like the changes proposed, if anything i would like more time. except for short stackers, they should have less time.

I don't see how taking a choice away would be a good thing. I know some recreational players complain about the game speed but they already have the choice to play fast tables. Many recreational players deliberately chose the normal speed table, not sure why you would want to scare them the away. If you feel like you must do something maybe just implement for micros & small stakes for now. Medium stakes you often have decisions for well over $1k and 18 seconds just is a super short time.

Yup these changes are no good. Somewhere in the middle perhaps but as stated are not acceptable.

...why would u still 12+ table if they made them all fast? if it was just a money grab it would have been done before. Stars is catering to what recreational players want, not regulars. (about f time)

Re: *** OFFICIAL 2012 STARS REGS THREAD!!! ***

Are there any regs that deliberately don't sit at fast or normal tables? If this is the case removing the choice can help overall volume at a stake. Which is something we should all strive for/welcome.

Are you aware of any data that suggests otherwise? I know quite a few recreational players that I only encounter on normal speed tables

yeah i try to avoid fast tables, once you run out of timebank on one table it fk's up all the other tables.
Also its not like we are gonna have 18seconds to act every hand with the new changes, after a few hands it could be very likely that some tables are already out of timebank, which would just stuff up my session. and during a long session it would be likely that across a bunch of ur tables that u will have timebanks between 0-5seconds on most of ur tables., which would be redicolously annoying/tilting and would led to people always timing out.

Who have the softest small stakes games - Pokerstars or Ongame?
