Word, thats a shame. On UB they payed out the limit per table you played. I remember 12 tabling nl200 there and got like 4k just for it hitting my limit and the BBJ was pretty small in comparison to this.

I agree that is a completely misinformed classification of the games on Merge

im pretty much only playing regs which i had never done on any other site because they were far better. 100nl on merge is ubermicrostakes in terms of skills level.

this is ridiculous. i've been playing online poker since before anyone ever heard of chris moneymaker, and these are probably the toughest ssnl games i've ever played in.

so you played during the party boom and still cant afford to play higher than SSNL? How does that make you an expert on the thoughness of the games?

Get your database of 100nl and show me more than 10regs with higher WWSF than 42. I doubt you'll be able to do this at 100nl. Go on ipoker/ongame/party. Most regs have 3bets of 10% and WWSF of 47-55. Much much harder to play than 85% fit or fold players and 2-3 lags and 2-3 solid nits

I have not seen anyone decent outside of this partyb00m guy and he's still very spewy for a massive nit. entrncd would be the other decent reg.. thats about it..

All the quixstax/bigsh0tb0b type players are worth way more than fish. You can read their hands perfectly and they'll dump you buyins after buyins even if they run super hot and hit every 20% in allins they still manage to give it all away slowly.

Btw i used to play 200 and 400 on merge last year and decided to quit after a 50k hand run bad. I was a 2.7ptbb winners in those games after the downswing playing every table i could and i glanced over my old database and found out quitting that site was clearly ******ed, i was crushing even while runnning bad and very few regs were good.. so many sweatypig with regstats and -10bb/100 winrates. Other sites you get eaten by the rake even while bumhunting unless you run hot. Rake is very low on merge.

im sure 3/6 and 5/10 has some world class players but there still surrounded by 70% of spazz while on ongame/party/stars you have 94% world class regs 5% spazzy and a few fish that randomly pop

again i will refer to luckychewy's leggo videos. I coach a guy at 30nl on ongame and he table selects and has never seen a table as soft as those midstakes tables. Ongame's semi-fish playing 40/30 are only losing at -3bb/100.. better winrates than lots of merge regs

And yes I do start tables sometimes and yes I think its proper etiquette to sit across from the table

The merge games have alot of really nitty regulars, which is pretty lame. Its very boring/annoying to play them.

@punching guy, games might be softer because I played with quickstax at 25NL when I first deposited and he didn't get anywhere last time I checked

70% spaz @ msnl on merge, lmfao. you might get 1 fish per table on a friday/sat night for 3-4 hours. rest of the time its hunt ua6 and hope diana pays a visit before your eyes bleed from spanish rat fks and nitregs.

Can somebody tell me approx a ballpark figure for how much rakeback you would earn with standard Merge RB deal per 1000 hands of $100NL 6max? How much different is 200NL?

I just posted this in the fr forum but it might help with your numbers. Plus it shows how sick the BBJ rake is. For 2012, I have played ~20,000 hands, all 100nl mainly 6 max, and all BBJ tables. PT3 shows me at $1939 in rake.

However, when I check my stats on lock, it shows me as only paying ~$1200 in rake. The difference is from the BBJ rake, which you don't get any back of. So after 20k hands I've paid 7 buyins at 100nl directly to BBJ. So sick.
