maybe I am wrong in this thread but I need some advice. I am playing on the Poker Nordica Skin with rakeback (RBLovers, I would not recommend them, but thats another story). There have been rakeraces (for the players with RB) in the past months and I should receive 50$ for january and a ticket to a 2500$ freeroll for the top 50 of that rakerace. I did not receive any of it and the support does not answer. Should I contact the RB-Affiliate? Is the support for the whole Merge-Network or has every skin its own? Is there anybody else that has participated in the rakerace and got or got not the money and the ticket? Usually the tournament started on the first sunday of the next month, but it did not this time. The money comes often with a slight delay of some days, but now we are in the second half of the month...

My ID is NY so I don't know how I could pull that off.. **** this blows, why would they screw us like this by taking all those tables off, TWO NL50 tables what a ****in joke. Pokerview was the only site I could even register on but I can't deposit because yup I'm in NY, lol. Have play money and can open the client and see all those beautiful tables up and running, fml.

i have recently been getting back into online and i am also on players only. the lack of traffic is frustrating, but i don't know if you realize how juicy our secluded tables are, ateleast 100NL-200NL and some 400NL. these games are filled with mostly the same fish/bad regs. out of all the people i see on a daily basis; the most normal looking stats i see after a few k hands are 26/15, 19/13, 33/19 etc. These are the winning regs at these tables lol. just FYI.

I'm on Players Only and the traffic sucks, 80% of fish are SS and payouts taking forever. Time to move to Lock.

I don't know if this is worth it though, I haven't even tried playing at these tables as I cashed out my roll two days ago after seeing 2 NL50 and 3 NL100 tables lol. I had considered that though, that it must only be sportsbook and playersonly players who are allowed to play each other passed NL25.. must be something along the lines of they don't want them losing their money to people on other merge skins so they then can't gamble it at the book, but if they lose to each other they can keep gambling on games maybe..

It's hard to say if it is worthwhile to stay and play there or move on, I've already made my decision, but kept a little money on there to gamble with, maybe build up a little roll and check those games out.. Going to move probably and sign up somewhere else, still thinking things through. Frustrating to say the least.

How long have you been playing those tables now?

I think ArmoredPenguin might be a bot. Does anyone have any info on him? He always opens for 5BB's and his stats are very odd.. 13/13 with a 3 bet % of 11.

never heard of him, but why would this make him a bot? if you are tighter, you probably could open larger and 3bet more.

His behavior is just very odd. I'm just speculating which is why I asked if anyone had any info on him. I have only seen him at nl50. he plays 13/13 which is very nitty for 6 max yet he flats 4 bets with things like 44 100bb deep. I've also never seen a player who never calls opens. Also always opening for 5 bb's regardless if there are limpers or not is kind of odd.

edit- PTR also says that he is looser than 1% of the population, yet more aggressive than 99% of the population. Very strange indeed.

yeah armoredpenguin is weird as hell... definitely plays different than anyone else ive ever played against... 5bb open pre boggles my mind too

I have AP marked as a fish because once he came down to 25NL and played 85/.5 over 216 hands and lost half a BI. Then I played with him at 50NL and he played 13/13... so maybe he tilts hard at lower steaks or multiple people playing?

So he tilts by playing like a loose passive fish?

can someone please explain how these shortstackers continue to infest the tables? where is all of their money coming from????

02-23-2012 , 08:37 PM
but it seems like these guys are just huge fish, why not just take their money as they shove it in 30bb at a time
02-23-2012 , 08:39 PM
im just wondering what sort of mental deficiency they have to keep short stacking when their graphs look like that... thats all

This is why I always thought people whining about 35bb SSers were just outright ******ed. Heaven forbid you have to adjust your game to exploit the "fish" at the table.
02-23-2012 , 08:45 PM
short deposits

they also steal like 85% from button/sb and only 3 bet smaller than all in when they have QQ+ lol
