Someone mentioned betfair, they are absolute scum these days. Check out what happened over the festive period if you want a lol http://www.racingpost.com/news/horse...ystery/968454/. That is the latest in a long line of rogue actions. I keep banging on about dodgy companies I know (and i'll shut up now) but it really winds me up when sites take liberties with punters and their cash.

Back to the issue at hand, peoplesbankof is generating some lol games on ipoker recently @ 200/400

Sure they do a fair amount of the time (as long as you factor in commission) but since 2010 they have

1) Offered a casino promotion where they lost a lot of money. They then refused to pay winners, kept the losers money and even went as far as taking money out of peoples bank accounts who thet had already paid out.

http://www.casinomeister.com/rogue/betfair.php

2) Took bets on the Tote jackpot last september, then when it hit for £16k told customers that an error had resulted in their bets not being placed (despite being shown as placed in account history) and refused to pay them out, returning stakes.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/n...0-jackpot.html

3) Hid the fact that all their customer payment and bank details (including encrypted info) had been stolen by hackers from Cambodia. When it came out in the press their head of security resigned.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/n...ata-theft.html

4) Removed £52,000 from a customers account over an argument about the premium charge

http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/Bet...149259148.html

5) Are slowplaying to an extreme one customer who is trying to withdraw $3.1 million

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...c&noredirect=1

6) Refusing to let journalists who own shares into their shareholder annual meeting

http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2...annual-meeting

and to top it all off they have alienated all their customers by slapping massive taxes and charges on winners, charging dormant account fees and generally behaving like they just want to rip everyone off at every opportunity.
Not to mention that debacle during the holidays. Honestly why would anyone gamble there when theres places like paddy power and boyles and pinnacle around, I just dont get it!

Re: *****OFFICIAL 2012 IPOKER REGS THREAD ******

I just won the Rio Jackpot which was $145000, I won 6 in a row. I had to email my tournament details to Winner Poker which is the site I play on and now waiting for confirmation, now it has been almost 24 hours and i am anxious because I never heard back. I am getting worried because there are guys online saying Ipoker tries not to pay out if they can find an out. My win was as clean as clean gets, anyone ever hear of someone winning a big jackpot and got paid no problems?
My screename is monkwell16 on ipoker if you want to check on pokerprolabs.

thanks, I just need some piece of mind while i am waiting

Re: *****OFFICIAL 2012 IPOKER REGS THREAD ******

congratulations!

I wouldn't worry too much right now just because some time has passed, some skin's support guys just are that slow..

maybe talk to your affiliate and see if they have a contact somewhere higher up at winner poker who can speed up the process or at least give you a timeline or something?

thanks for your post, So you think this is legit and ipoker is reputable and will pay up no questions asked once they see i didn't collude.
I am so wound up here, always wanted to play professional in higher stakes and now I have the bankroll.

Re: *****OFFICIAL 2012 IPOKER REGS THREAD ******

well I think they will pay up if you really did nothing wrong - I'm not so sure about the "no questions asked" part though.

I also don't know how big of a role the skin you are playing on plays in all this, winner is a smaller skin which could led to some delays if they have to cough up the money all by themselves - like I said, I don't know who actually pays for those jackpots (in reality it's the players obv)

I just had a quick look on sharkscope and it appears several of the same players played in most of the 6 sng's, so i imagine they will be going over it with a fine tooth comb, also your account appears to be new which might make them raise eyebrows.
If all is legit though there is no reason they wouldn't pay.

Look at this thread, a previous winner who never got paid.......
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29...-tl-dr-700172/

Cliff Notes

- I won 6 Jackpot SNGs in a row, for $160,000.
- ipoker accused me of collusion
- They provided no solid evidence, and one hand history that isn't even suspect play
- They refuse to re-open the case, or to allow a 3rd party investigate it
- I feel I have been robbed and my character questioned.
- Ipoker still owe me $160,000.

EDIT - Actually, looking back over most appear to be different player, i can only look at 3 of the sng's though as i am out of searches

I am a new account with winner but i have account with titan, mansion, cdpoker also, I kind of bounce around. I am from a small place in canada, PEI so hopefully they realize I didn't know any of these players.
I really didn't notice any duplicate players in any of the tournaments, I will have to check again.

Nice one if you get it mate! I'm not one for thinking poker's rigged but i always thought these sng's would be towards the end e.g 5/6 or 6/6 to win it. Obviously if you can get someone to call two streets and fold to you on the river you'd be win but the site would obv catch you out. Hope you get your payday!

I used to really like betfair but not been there in years. My degen mate used to trade in-play on snooker and tennis matches but the liquidity died almost overnight. Something to do with the time delay on your tv vs people who were actually there betting in real time.

Been bumhunting at 200/400?!

This crap angers me so much. So many ruthless companies exist and are somehow able to operate like this with no consequences. What's even more disgusting is that the CEO of this company is probably in for another 20% pay hike or whatever they give themselves annually. I'm really losing touch with the western world and how it works. To me, there appears to be so much corruption but no one seems to care! I feel like I'm taking crazy pills some days...

These companies profit off of degens with gambling addictions and are somehow able to get super dodgy/shady when it comes to paying out a legit bet/bonus. Capitalism is all about ripping off the bottom feeders so that a few select people get disgustingly rich. If someone gets in your way, revert to this magical "legal system" we have in place to find a loophole or some breach. Just total crap.

For the past month, I feel like throwing up every time I see Bodog advertisements here in Canada. "Deposit your cash and never see it again. BODOG, BE A PLAYER!"
