Happy new year regs,

Poker/Gambling were my main focuses in 2011 and I managed to acheive more than I wanted, 2012 has different focus for me but I'll still be around on the tables, and playing the WSOP main.

Everyone in here who wants to is gonna crush and make fistfulls of money, you only got yourself to blame if you dont make it online over the course of a year, hope all the posters on this thread manage it.

P.S. Wonder who the biggest SSNL and MSNL winners were on ipoker in 2011

My goal for 2011 was to make $150k. Ended up making a little more than half of that and spending it all

2012:

$120k and stop spending so much money

Better body than thegoatian

In on the ground floor! Giving up shortstacking on stars thanks to the new rake changes, and fullstacking on ipoker with a rakeback deal that doesn't require me to slave for a year to get anything.

Don't beat up on me too hard.... is there anything I should know?

Mostly I'm just trying to figure out where the damn "sit out next big blind" button is, and wishing I could have my own avatar instead of deciding if I want to look like a gangster or a cowboy.

Didn't set a 2011 goal but probably would have been $100k profit, ended up winning 4x that which was pretty incredible considering I won $50kish in 2010. This year 500k is the target but if I make half that and have a better body than Goat it will be worth it!!!

Goats plan to make ipoker reg free in 2012 is taking shape, whilst he is sat with all the fish, eating mars bars and jamsyms left over pizza we are all in the gym all day trying to get cut!

my dream would be to get even vs the bookmaker in sports betting, but its not going to happen unless goatian posts his tips every week ;D

i had a terrible year both personally and finacially in 2011, main goal is to win $500-1k a month over the next 12 months (or however long im playing poker for) and hopefully find a career/something intresting to pursue so i can finally get out of poker/gambling.

i think poker is just going to get worse this year, with less and less people able to beat the game at meaningful levels until there is a sparse collection of players able to beat it, and all having to settle for less money. I say this because even the donkaments are seeing reduced fields and shrinking prizepools, and the state of donkaments is often a good barometer of the number of fish in poker. and players who are compelled to 'get better' are obv just killing poker.

I'm relatively optimistic about this year on a personal level but am a bit worried about the state of the poker economy in general. Hopefully this year or next we will see an influx of players from somewhere. It's all about hanging in there until then or else, god forbid, get a real job.
