Has anyone had this MTT problem happen to them on an i-poker skin ?
I signed up to Gala Poker on Friday just gone, to take advantage of their 200% bonus on initial deposit. Figured they should be reputable due to their huge brick & mortar presence in the UK.... Anyway, played a few MTTs - min cashed. A few SNGs, lost in a few but then won one outright - all seems fine. However last night I played in a $3 rebuy PLH MTT and finished 2nd place for $160. Would have been a nice little score, except after the table closed down when the tourney finished, the $160 didn't appear in my account balance! Couldn't contact them at 2am as customer support only works daytime hours, so I emailed them and followed that up with a phone call first thing this morning (8am) and now at 2pm after chasing again, they said their poker department is looking into it! wtf ? Has anyone else had this happen to them? I've never ever, on any site experienced anything like this.
I asked the customer services lady if their 'poker dept' has a phone they can ring them and ask what's going on - but I was told they cannot contact them directly, they just have to wait for a response via email. Brilliant.

Rant over. But yeah, would be interested to know if anyone else has experienced this?

ha that wasnt on the cards was it??

Additionally, there will be no waiting lists and players will be able to join the same game pool up to 10 times.

wtf thats way too many, sort of defeats the point in it being fast paced.

have played stars, just not much in last 4years now. got no real interest in going there, i feel changing sites is tough cos ur 1 new face to them but u have so many styles/habits/reads to learn. maybe if ipoker dries up i will need to one day, but thats not to chase the nosebleed action

I am glad the nitty bumhunter who stole your nick plus a number is not you geeforce. Congrats on the success this year, even better than the tribeca days!

u'd be surprised how little i study etc. i just play. its always been how i developed, i do a **** load of hands and work stuff out that way. thats also why i need to play good players. playing becomes a lesson that way, if u can find out how ppl own u in spots then u can use this on others and counter it more. everyone is different tho, some people wouldnt find this approach optimal

yeah...geeforce3....sigh

What are the chances that the genius software development team at ipoker releases a bug free version of speed poker?

http://pokerupdate.com/news/new-ipok...on-of-network/

The iPoker network released a new network policy today. The statement confirms the year's earlier rumours of a divided network that will see a number of smaller licenses likely perish.

The new policy will apply to all operators from July 1st, with the network split scheduled for September 2012. The release states that:

"iPoker has decided to extend the network policy to include specific quality standards that would regulate the interaction between the various card rooms. Failing to meet any of these standards will cause a separation of the card room from the network main liquidity pool."

The new policy stresses that operators failing to meet the criteria, will not be kicked off the network, but will only have access to the secondary player pool. These licenses will still enjoy benefits from being part of the network, but will only enjoy a smaller and likely more savvy player pool. Some poker rooms who fear being banished to this sub-network have voiced concerns that this secondary pool will be unappealing to players and perish. It comes as no surprise that other rooms believe this is only fair and just.

The main piece of performance criteria that smaller operators will struggle to overcome, is the requirement to maintain a minimum volume of 6,000 active real money players. A real money player is defined as one that generates more than $1 in rake. Moreover, rooms are also required to inject 850 monthly new active real money players.

Aside from the room no longer being a part of the network's main liquidity pool, financial penalties have also been outlined in the document. Win/Loss and Shark/Fish ratio fines have been longstanding on a number of poker networks including iPoker.

The new policy is aimed to ensure iPoker becomes a softer network, that encourages recreational players and promotes a more enjoyable playing experience. Sources close to PokerUpdate have revealed that, they look forward to seeing licenses invest more into marketing their poker product as they get their house in order and ready for iPoker2.

It is thought that the network's sportsbook operators are the most likely to fulfil all the criteria required to be a part of the main player pool, that looks likely to be dubbed 'iPoker2'.

how many skins have 6k active real money players?
