Bodog turned to complete trash IMO, so it's Merge or Cake but Cake software tilts me too much plus less traffic.

I don't care about how tough the games are etc, but Merge has decent uNL traffic and accepts new players and HM?

How do you guys choose which skin and which affiliate to sign up thru (or are you guys going straight to the skin/site to sign up?)

I'm on everleaf, they don't really have many games (midstakes is nonexistant, and normal games only run from say 10am-8pm est), but it's soft and money comes via WU. They used to have a 4 day tops turnaround, now it's like 3 weeks (they did say it should be speeding up now that the holidays are over). Crappy software, crappy amount of tables, crappy times, but withdraws are free, they reimburse your deposit fee (which is $12 if you WU it), and it's full of italians. Oh, and they limit your weekly winnings to $1000, which is lame. But then they also claim to have segregated funds as their gambling authority (Malta) requires, so that's a plus and what sold me on it.

what is a decent line for over / under on US regulation? or is this year way out of the question?

I think we'll have federal regulation before the end of the year, likely around September. All the corporations have done their mergers, the recent DoJ ruling ends up giving lotteries the ability to sell stuff online likely weakening their focus on poker, the DoJ ruling also makes the necessity of Federal action more obvious to the congressfolk, etc etc. There's just a lot of stuff this time around that make it pretty likely that it goes through this year. There's also Bartons own comments that we have enough votes in the house, and Harry Reid controlling the senate means if he wants it to pass (assuming bartons statement on the house is true) they can do it. I was thinking a Reid bill would be introduced, but I'm not so sure about that anymore. Either way we've got a lot of ways for it to happen, everything seems to suggest that it's going to happen, and we all want it to happen, so I'm believing in regulation in 2012.

FTP money on the other hand... Dunno about all that.

im pretty sure FTP will come back within the year for ROW. I dont think GBT would take such huge investment risk if he wasn't confident of reopening FTP and get it up and running asap
