ended up having to sleep at Las Vegas airport last night, 9 hours later flew to ATL today, was late, they postponed my flight, now its cancelled. I'm standby for a 9pm flight home but if I can't make this one I have to wait til 2morrow and spend another ****ing night in an airport. So miz. They gave me this $50 drink voucher so I'm gonna gobble this up, but shouldn't they pay for a hotel if I have to spend the night AGAIN? I forgot to ask and havent had this happen before..

what qualifies as them ****ing up? Im sure they just play the "its outta of our control" card as often as possible, its all subjective in the end anyway. It might be standard practice to get a hotel, im just not familiar with this type of situation. I have to sleep in a bed tonight, im like going on 48 hours with maybe 1 hour sleep.

on the bright side I've played 8k hands and won 20bis trying to kill time, might just have to move a bed into an airport and post up for a month

in my limited experience of one cancelled flight, they only pay for a hotel if the flight was delayed due to weather.

only had one cancelled flight and they paid for me to fly with another airline, if I couldn't get a flight on the same day I would have had hotel and food paid for. I thought it was fairly standard that if they don't get you home you get a hotel but I guess it varies between airlines.

Hmm, my friend and I went on a trip and about an hour after takeoff the pilot says there's a problem and that we are turning back ... long story short, they try to accommodate everyone on flights the same day but we got left out. They paid for our hotel room that night, gave us 3 food vouchers each totaling around $75ea for us the next day and also gave us a $50 credit each towards our next booked flight with them.

yup, theyll pay for everything. ive had multiple flights canceled due to weather/some other random scheduling thing and i believe they got me to fly with either their partner or a different airline company all together. they should def pay for your hotel, im surprised they havnt offered it. what airlines are you flying? are you being an *******? lol

Been rerouted to Molina,Il once (supposed to go to Chicago)...nothing payed for...mebbe 10h or so until the next flight out. We landed there at about midnight.

Couldn't leave the airport either because I had already been processed as "leaving the country" at the airport before so I guess technically my visa was already revoked/only for airtravel at that point or some BS.

I think it was American Airlines not 100% sure though.
