Hello all.

First post here. This hand has been bugging me. Here goes....

$2-$3 game at my local card room

Pre-Flop: I have AQ

I'm first to act. I rase to $18

Two callers to my left.

Flop: 2510

Check, Check, Dealer bets $35

I wait think a min, call, and guy to my left calls.

Turn: 10

Check, Check, Dealer bets $50

I wait think a min, call, and guy to my left folds.

River: 5

I think for a min and bet $100

Dealer stares me down and folds.

I was calling slowly hoping to keep the guy to my left in the hand to make the pot bigger. With tho board pairing twice though, I was really afraid of a full house. OTF I put the dealer on either a set or a big pocket pair. If he had the set, I was beat with the paired board. I was hoping that if he did have the full house, it was a weak one and I could convince him I had a bigger one or quads and get him to fold. How would you guys have played it? Any input appreciated.

Thanks!

My standard line here is problally just bet, bet, then probaly check that P.O.S. river ... Maybe against some weak opponets if i put them on a ten or small flush ill go bet, then check raise the turn. But yeah i dont think this is a spot to slow play and check call the flop. It seems like the dealer had a small flush (after the hand played out), and you could have sized up and bet bigger on the flop and turn and made a bit more money that way.

Just bet flop yourself. People don't fold anything live.

Your logic for the river is bad. People don't fold anything live.
