NL50 - line check; spew or decent double barrel? NL50 - line check; spew or decent double barrel?

Villain is 30/24, bit loose and a bit of a station but not terrible. Is my turn raise decent or am I better flatting and hoping to realise equity? Is river bluff the right play or am I better just giving up on this river? I put villain on 99-AA - should he be folding here given my line?

Please leave the checks in your hands. Eliminating them makes your hands easy to misinterpret.

    Don't raise turn.

    Epic 3rd post, Cook.

Raising turn is bad because the hands you fold out you are mostly ahead of, and you have pretty solid equity against the hands you're not.

River bet is real bad, that and another 5 are just horrendous cards for your range.

My suspicion is that you don't have a whole lot of hands here with a 5 in it and check-raising this turn with a lone 8 makes no sense, so if your opponent can handread at all he's calling with any decent holding.

Probably a bit of a stretch but weaker flush draws, Jx and 99/1010. Re the river bet I just hate to give up a river when my equity is so low though.

And isolated I have no idea why the checks don't show, I just copied and pasted from a HEM file. Il just type them in in future but thanksl for your comments

3betting pre for value seems like a must.

Raising turn seems kinda spewy and unneccesary. Lots of reasons to call instead. We get to realise our equity, he might bluff an A or Q, A high will be good at showdown a non-zero %.
