Vilain reg no more infos
This is something that happens quite a lot and that always annoys me : i cbet range 1/3 pot on a board that i smash and vilain raise me
In this spot usually i would nearly never reraise value cause the board is super dry all our value hands dont need protection we are IP so i usually just call and let them bluff or take value on later streets with good hands
But i end up not reraising any bluff on a spot where i have a huge range advantage, and overfolding which is a pity ...
So we should def reraise some value and nuts here right ?
What would be you're reraising range here ?

I don't get cute underbetting single raise pots since we're not threatening their stack by the river. As played I'd flat until I needed to bet/raise

Bet 2/3 to 3/4 pot with your value and bluff hands....if you have a range advantage start extracting value immediately with your c-bet.

I also do not understand this 1/3 betting on the flop that we are bluffing alot, and also our button range does not smash this bord at all.

probably 3b like KQ+ for value
sizing is fine, don't know why u guys hate so much about it.

as played just cawl cawl

the sizing is not only fine, it probably yields the highest EV compared to other sizings (at least in a vacuum, on this board)

against a competent player definitely not, we have alot of bluffs here and will get called super wide.

I don't mind this sizing at all. I would do 1/3 this flop and 2/3 on 90% turn cards with my whole range .

interesting, i guess solvers are incompetent

well, the other option is to pot flop with ur range, so u don't get called by A9o that often

Not sure how to balance it with a sound turn strategy though, at least I don't know how.

Actually i'm quite surprise that when i put my range and the range i would call here in vilain's shoes i get only 51,5% equity, i thought we would smash that way harder
But also i might still be too tight on my calling range here, i would defend 50% prob 3beting like 15% here BB vs BTN, but my vilain are not looser than that though so in reality dont have that big of a range advantage

I guess if it's closer like that we want to not cbet range and then cbet 1/2 pot becomes a really cool option ? (dont like 2/3 we still want to bet a lot and thin value/prot a lot of hands)

on this board we can cbet as small as it possible. like 0.5 bb ^^
07-26-2016 , 10:31 PM
No need to push out the bluffs so early. A turn card could give villain more rope to hang himself with. And you have position which is pretty sexy.

I'd flat flop, call anything 1/2 pot or bigger ott, raise anything smaller and maybe consider a river r/f line to get value out of worse 2 pairs or KQ, etc.

I'd probably be inclined to cbet a bigger value from a 2bb button raise but I like 1/3 pot in 3 bet pots or if villain stack size is small and you just crushed the flop.

To answer your question, no we don't have to be reraising value here ever. This is 50NL lol.
07-27-2016 , 09:19 AM
But still reraising some bluffs like A2hh type hands ?
07-27-2016 , 09:33 AM
A2hh I think is strong enough just to call. Can 3bet some air I guess.
