NL200 1st 100k hands, and a big leak, how to fix it?
Hi everyone,
i recently moved up to 200NL in a .it site. reviewing my database i have seen that i'm loosing too much from the blinds and i'm loosing a lot in 4handed play.
what could i adjust to fix that?
the field is composed by a lot of regs with a low fold to 3b and fishes with 40/50bb
stats overall
stats by position
stats by number of players
graph
PS. sorry for my english and i hope that it's the right section to post that.

I think your biggest problem isn't the blinds - your lose-rates are fine there. It's your other positions - you are far too tight on button and cutoff and a bit too loose in EP and hijack.
Try opening 40-50% of hands on button at least and 25-30% on cutoff, and cut back EP ranges to 15% and you will already see a signifcant improvement without changing anything else about your game at all. Not saying those are optimal ranges but they are closer than yours.

try less bet(raise)/folding
red line - won at SD and blue line - won with no SD
should be closer to the x-axis
(I would say they should change their positions on the graph)

most of the stuff ITT is true/good points but it really is just 100k hands, 40k in the blinds (and your lossrates are not even that terrible) and just 20k on the button. All of your stats look fine. Just keep trying to improve and grinding. Also play with this: http://www.evplusplus.com/poker_tool...nce_simulator/

This! You are far to tight on the button and CO and way to loose in earlier positions. Make those positions pretty tight and open 50-70% on the button. Should notice some nice profit. Playing raise or fold in SB works well. Can call when BB doesn't squeeze enough or is a fish. 18% UTG is pretty loose I would do like 14% even for 200NL. 18% look good for MP. I open 13% from MP and even tighter UTG and I am a pretty big winner at 200-600NL. I would open 18% in MP if everybody on the table were nits. My overall stats are looser then yours as well opening that tight in early positions. So it goes to show how important CO and button are.

Keep the same ranges 4 handed as you would for 6handed. Now the only positions you play are CO, button, SB, BB in 4 handed. Can open it up a lil more if you feel like it too. I assume you are not beating it as much is because you are not as aggressive in the CO or button as most regs are.

On first sight, I think, you are x/f'ing too much on flop and turn. That may be, because you defend too much in the blinds, or that you simply just ... fold too much when defending.

what is a nice % of x/f?
I play a lot of mwp with fish, could be this factor?

Re: NL200 1st 100k hands, and a big leak, how to fix it?
Well, your x/f flop stat is 78%. Starting with HU pots, villain can basically cbet 100% to make a profit.
However, I'm not too familiar with this stat, but I'd start by filtering for hands where you call in the blinds HU. If your x/f stat is significantly higher than 40%, you should adjust either by defending less, until you are more comfortable, or find a way to play more of your holdings better than just "fit-or-fold".
