nl100 JTs top2 vs heat

Poker Stars $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 4 players -

SB: $245.27
Hero (BB): $224.48
CO: $41.50
BTN: $115.98

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is BB with J T
CO raises to $2.50, 1 fold, SB calls $2, Hero calls $1.50

Flop: ($7.50) J T 9 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $6, CO calls $6, SB raises to $24.87, Hero ..

CO was 20/17 shortstacker reg, CO open 26%, fold to cbet 52%. 4k hands
SB was kind of a fish, yet not too agro. 31/19, fold to cbet 23%, raise cbet 9% (11). 200 hands

fwiw, i had seen SB valuebet the nuts on the river by clicking pot sized bet when i had checked (on this hand, he apparently pressed pot sized raise).

Probably fold with your read that he pots it when he's value betting. Looks a lot like a made straight and we are still not really crushing a pair + straight draw etc.

we are deep and have position, I think id start by calling, he could be doing this with T9. we only have 200 hands on SB so the note of betting pot for value may not be a tight of a read as we think.

Re: nl100 JTs top2 vs heat

Being deep here makes me want to fold more, he has 32 straight combo's in a spot like this if he's 31/19. We are drawing to 4 outs only, only 16% of equity in almost all cases, and that is to the river, we never have the implied odds to call here being 220bb deep. He is raising into 2 people on a board that doesnt contain any flushdraws, he's not doing this with T9 unless we have a read he is a complete maniac, and the CO is still behind us.

call! we have nut outs and lots of money back, we are basically unbluffable ott (think this is the bottom of my range but dont know your donking strategy), he CAN have t9 or some awkward spaz (esp if he has really low 3b and can rockup with QQ or something here).

i'd call and see what happens on OTT, since villain can have worse for value and we can still fill up

I'd call and see turn. You have outs plus position and the dude is somewhat fishy.

What is the least amount of effective BB's that any of you still feel comfortable calling with?

Villain seems super nutted here. IF he can be raising with a hand like 9T/J9, won't he continue to play them by bombing turn? So if our plan is to call now and fold turn, we are just handing him extra money.

People seem to forget that we are also still battling vs a CO reg flatting range here, since we are not closing the action, who certainly does not have air, and can easily have all nutted combo's still in his range.

yeah true. but just going on status quo people STILL cbet these boards too much.

Unfortunately op gives us his fold to flop cbet.

Easy fold imo. I estimate you have about 33% equity vs his range and you are not even closing the action.

Re: nl100 JTs top2 vs heat

I'm not sure if it matters but villain did not click the pot button with the flop raise. Potsize raise would be $32+.

This is a spot I can never click the fold button but seem to always fold the turn so I'm lighting $ on fire.
