Need some turn advice - PP + OESD

So the villain in this hand is something like 20/12 over about 1k hands. He seems to be pretty solid despite the slightly weak stats (kind of a product of the site I think)

IPN (Boss Media) - $1 NL - Holdem - 10 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

BB: $24.95
UTG: $63.66
UTG+1: $82.84
MP: $16.00
MP+1: $61.48
MP+2: $77.34
LP: $294.96
CO: $136.46
Hero (BTN): $99.50
SB: $148.20

SB posts SB $0.50, BB posts BB $1.00

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero has 5 5

fold, fold, fold, MP+1 calls $1.00, fold, LP raises to $4.00, fold, Hero calls $4.00, fold, fold, MP+1 calls $3.00

Flop: ($13.50, 3 players) 2 4 3
MP+1 checks, LP bets $8.00, Hero raises to $22.00, fold, LP calls $14.00

Turn: ($57.50, 2 players) T
LP checks, Hero checks

River: ($57.50, 2 players) K
LP bets $268.96 and is all-in, fold

LP wins $54.15

The flop is standard but I'm not sure what to do on the turn. At first I thought that a bet would be good, but I didn't want to get check-raised off of what could be the best hand so I decide to check and see a river. The plan was to get to SD cheap if I missed but that obviously didn't happen.

Is my logic in this hand flawed?

I'd just call this down. You got SD value and your hand is looking to improve on later streets and you have position on the dude.

As played, you chose the aggressive route and there is nothing wrong with that. So with that in mind I would bomb the turn and try to get him to fold. River is so super close between snap folding and tank folding, so close that I can't really see any merit in discussing the point.

Mostly seems like you're bloating the pot with a weak hand on the flop. I prefer keeping the pot smaller with your hand also not risking getting 3bet on flop.
