Hero ($250) is on the button with A
8
. Villain ($140) is a very aggressive player who C-Bets almost all of his hands.
Pre-Flop:
It folds around to the Hero who raises to $15 and both the Villain (SB) and BB call.
Flop: 6
5
7
Hero checks expecting the Villain to C-Bet.
Villain C-Bets to $20. BB Folds and Hero Calls.
Turn: 4
Hero checks, Villain bets $40. Hero calls.
River: 6
Hero Checks planning to check call with such a poor river.
Villain bets $50
Hero raises to $120, Villain goes into the tank and calls. Hero shows and the Villain mucks his hand.
As I am stacking up my winnings the Villain makes a comment about how bad my River raise was and just thought I would get some more opinion. I like the line I took considering the dynamics of the table. I think a 6 will rarely be in his range of hands he barrels flop and turn, as well as the small size of the bet on the River really made it seem improbable I was beat. Thoughts?
