100NL 6max

100BB stacks

Hero, SB, AsAd, $100
Villain, BTN, $100

Previous hand I 3bet villains cuttoff open w 45s, cbet flop, and we chop a pair of 4s as he has 74s.

Now he opens BTN for 3$, I 3bet to 10$, bb folds and villain calls.

Pot ~ $20
Flop Qd 7d 3s

I cbet 12$, villain raises to $30. I think if I shove, he calls a queen, possibly JJ/TT, or sets obv, and he will most likely fold a diamond draw. I decide to slow play and just call because there's no bad turn for me. Even if the turns a diamond I'm in good shape w the nut fd, and I give him a chance to bluff. What do you all think?

Turn 4c

I check intending to check raise all in if he bets, or call his shove, and hopefully get value on river if he checks back.

River 6s

I shove for value. Does anybody EVER check/call or even check/fold here? Any alternative lines you would have preferred earlier in the hand?

It sounds like based on your previous 3bet hand against V that V plays a pretty wide range against you. I would shove the flop against this guy after he raises us and expect to get called by flush draws,Queens, trips, and maybe some other medium pocket pairs...maybe. Do you have any stats or other info on V?

No other stats, it was zone on ignition and we kept our same seats.

I thought slowplaying here would make more money overall because his bluffs could continue and a queen would still get it in. Also I thought a raw diamond draw would potentially fold my flop shove but jam turn if I checked. Further, I don't expect JJ or TT to raise me on flop. So it looked like a slow play to me

Shove flop esp. because we're OOP. This is a 3bet pot, once he raises w a Q or FD he's calling shove.

I don't expect him to bluff again after you called OTF
