I would if I knew anyone, obviously. Perhaps I will look for a way to find them, but for some reason 'artists' often seem to think that their 1m*1m painting of a cow is worth €4k. We don't really have craigslist around here afaik.
Try the local couchsurfing group - there're quite often poor people & artists in that kind of group.

@Randiek even better. We had one of the more "famous" cough cough puke artists in Holland spread peanut butter on the floor and call it art. It just blows my f mind that these guys get money :@

poker content. i might be pretty rusty at live play, what do you b&m pros do here?

2/5 full ring live hand.

effective stacks $515.

reads: utg has been a touch erratic, but hasn't done anything too mental yet, but def isn't a good player.

CO: tight player, decent live handreader. i think he's tilting a bit though after getting stacked by a fish a couple of orbits ago.

utg limps, i limp MP1 22, few other limps and we see a flop 6 or 7 handed.

flop (~$30): 9 7 2
utg leads $25, i raise to $85, fold to CO who makes it $190, utg flats, hero???

snapshove? I'm never folding a set live.
04-26-2012 , 06:31 AM
I'm never folding a set for 100bb no matter what the venue. The one time you do, you're guaranteed to see two combo draws anyway.
04-26-2012 , 07:03 AM
Ick, that's a dirty spot. CO bad enough to limp TT+ and then 3b flop? I think it's probably closer than just snap shoving because we have a set but I'm not folding without a better read on CO.

it's live poker dude. Wouldn't amaze me to see a random A9o & TJs
04-26-2012 , 08:57 AM
Combinations guys. Guy is playing 97 the exact same way. 6 combos of sets and 9 combos of two pair possible is basically your worst case scenario.
04-26-2012 , 09:17 AM
It really is a snap shove. Live players, even the seemingly tight ones, show up with the most ridiculous ****. Can't ever fold 222 here imo
04-26-2012 , 09:20 AM
Also probably playing 76 or T8 or 65 or JT and similar hands the same way. Or hell, T8 or just the naked ace high flush draw. A few of those hands would've played it just fine as is too, so it's not like we need to look for crazy play to justify shoving.

fold i have enough information to tell you this is 100% 99 or 77 based off the fact that you're posting it here
04-26-2012 , 11:25 AM
^true

I wouldn't ever fold here but I also would expect to lose a decent amount of the time.

UTG is obv very bad given the limp preflop so can have any overpair and stuff like two big clubs here. He can even have AA/KK

CO is tight so the cold 3-bet is a little scary, but you say he's tilting, so combo draws and 97 are both in his range. He may simply not be recognizing right now that cold-3-betting is severely overplaying 97.

So, easy shove.

I'm not saying this is a ZOMG fantastic spot. But any decision other than shoving is pretty bad, so it's an "easy" shove.

2+2 being down was great. I've got step 2 in under a week and without the distraction I've managed to read 400 pages of a review book, do/review 2000+ practice questions!

On the downside, the email my account was tied to is no longer in use so I had to make a new name. Can you fix this orange?
05-12-2012 , 12:52 AM
good lord. i could have ****ing cured cancer and put ofishstix/shpanko out of a job with all that extra time.

ofishstix, PM mat sklansky, you can find his name in the about the forums area. he should be able to help you. if not, msg me.

Spent way too much time on reddit and actually played live poker

Good to be back

Ofish, maybe also try in the ATF forum in the thread about this issue because it seems pms are not working for a lot of people. Also, I don't think your new account can pm anyway at this point.

Sup bitches

Pretty sure I have developed SARS while the forums are down, so I'm glad to be able to say goodbye before my death.

This is Ratamahatta. I can't recover my password since the e-box I used was university e-box and after I graduated I don't have an access to it! This sucks so much! I had that account since 2005, I don't want to lose it!
