Shameless
Californication
Homeland
True Detective
Fargo
Orange is the new black
Silicon Valley

How far back can we go? Deadwood, The Wire, West Wing. Minority opinion: Veronica Mars.

I'd stop Californication after the 2nd or 3rd season. I'd stop Homeland after the first season. Not seen Shameless, Orange is the New Black or Silicon Valley though.

I was operating under the assumption that "with gf" viewing may be a little on the lighter side. I wouldn't say half of those are the best shows ever made but they can be entertaining for sure.

Agree that homeland s1 > s2/s3, however, the other seasons are still way better than most television.

anybody playing ABC Open Face chinese poker?

I'd love to add some players to my player pool. I'm totally noob and foul out a lot. You can prob figure out my gamecenter name easily enough.

FWIW so far we've done Suits/Breaking Bad/Game of Thrones and loved all three

PS awesome photos Orange. I did Yosemite but didn't get the half dome permit so we just walked to the halfway point (Nevada falls or something? The second of the two falls)
Sweet, glad to hear it. Next time you go, try to do the lottery system for the permit.

I wrote up a SF trip report too but am too lazy to post it. Check EDF if you guys want haha...

Oh heyyyy guys! Nice to see all the usual suspects.

Finished surgery intern year in Denver, just moved to Chicago, starting radiology residency tomorrow. Bought a condo in River North, considering getting a cat. That's about all I got. Anyone around Chicago these days?

I spent the better part of the last 2 years in Chicago for work (going back and forth on weekends). What a great city. Enjoy it. If you need any recommendations on food/drink let me know! If I'm out that way soon I'll shoot you a pm

What's the good word, SSNL?

What's everyone else up to these days?

I'm backing full time and we run a stable for cash game players. I'm still in the poker industry even though I know all you other dinosaurs got out of it. Currently living in Colorado (loving it here) but I'll be moving in a few months with girlfriend who's going to PA school in Oregon. Still climbing and doing a ton of outdoor activities.

I'll give a short summary of some of the guys I still loosely talk to:

carrotsnake: actuary

shpanko: doctor

ofishstix: doctor

Buff Disciple: Bar owner (check it out in New Haven, CT, the Beer Collective. Slick spot and I actually met up with Taurean this past fall there).

terp: Opening his own brewing company.

BGnight: still grinding out in Nevada and CA and being a ski bum/doing his conspiracy theories.

Keyser: Got in a bad accident and is back in school/finally recovered.

champstark: lawyer

Snipe: Still working in SF.

Any SSNLers interested in playing a werewolf game over at POG? I'd be happy to moderate it and walk you guys through - it's a very fun strategy/deception forum based game
