Hi everyone,

Got into a spot last night where I took a non standard line, just wanted some opinions. Normally I would xb flop and likely end up folding somewhere later

Only read is that V seems decent, been squeezing a fair amount but hasn't been shown doing it with garbage, mostly blocker stuff ajo, kqo, some 99 and such. Barreling fairly agg post over a really small sample, but I don't think he's very passive from what i'd seen.

My thought process for the hand-

It's a board that will give my flatting range plenty of draws, and I still obv have pairs. Because of this I think he cbets AK near 100%, when he checks flop i think he's pot controlling/has some SDV....

AK is a vb, AQ he might check to me but I think he should bet it alot. Which leaves his only pot controlling Ax Aj, which I block heavily.

Because of this I figured that betting twice to fold out KK-QQ would be profitable for whatever % of AQ i run into.

It becomes a lot worse if he has small suited aces he is squeezing with, but for normal villian I usually see a really tight high card oriented squeeze strat.

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J J

fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, SB calls 2.5 BB, BB raises to 12 BB, Hero calls 9 BB, fold

Flop: (27 BB, 2 players) 9 A 8
BB checks, Hero bets 13.5 BB, BB calls 13.5 BB

Turn: (54 BB, 2 players) 9
BB checks, Hero bets 27 BB, BB calls 27 BB

River: (108 BB, 2 players) 4
BB checks, Hero checks

Edit- I considered 4b for a bit, but decided I wanted a few more hands on him. Turn pairing 9 isn't a good bluffing card in general I think because it reduces my sets ect... but in my mind i was targeting a very narrow range of QQ-KK, AQ, which may have been a mistake
