Dumb sizing question 100nl nut flush

Villain was like 26/22/10, I would class him as a good reg.
I am 28/23/10, but stay out of this guys way really so no non standard history barring some light 4betting.
Over guy is obv fish.
Basically otr I think he'll fold any non flush hands anyway, so just wanted to check that a shove is 100% fine here?
And if you are him whats the worse you call with to a shove?

Re: Dumb sizing question 100nl nut flush

I have mixed feeling on the action preflop. I'd rather fold > 4bet preflop. However, his 2x 3bet size is interesting. I guess if you feel comfortable playing oop this way then it's OK but I actually don't like it.

I'm tempted to CR on turn because if he has any OP with a naked FD he might call and there is a small chance that he might play QQ this way since he can't see too many FD in your range. CR basically lets us know if he can play a big pot on turn.

At the same time, there is a possibility that he is just stabbing a scare card on turn with air. In that case, we don't wanna discourage him by CRing on turn.

It would help tremendously, if we have some kind of a read on the meaning of his small 3bet preflop to make the correct decision on turn.

River is interesting because your hand blocks some Ax hands like AK or AQ. And if he was bluffing on turn then I'd expect him to bluff that A river. We never CR on turn so we don't know how strong he is on river.

As played, on river, my first thought is to CR to 2x or 2.25x. At this point, I don't see why we should CRAI on river since he is most likely bet/folding with worse and bluff. However, his river bet size is interesting, why would he bomb the river this way? I guess more bluff than value? I actually have no idea what this means but you already got two streets of value so I would in fact go ahead and CRAI and this would be a "what if?" move and we are doing it in a dark since we didn't CR on turn but he is never calling with bluff anyway so it's better to go for maximum value just in case if it is the nutted range of sets and lower flush.

Re: Dumb sizing question 100nl nut flush

^what are you talking about

Preflop is a real simple pot odd call (lets us play perfectly against the fish too).. anything else doesnt make sense

we are IP so we cant really x/raise.. and I dont think SB has KK AA AK AQ QQ JJ TT here more than 5% of the time

his most likely holdings are KQ QJ 99 type hands

considering this (and assuming he is aware of his range) we cant really profitably bluffraise that Turn (his range doesnt include much air)

so call and jam non paired Rivers

Id valuejam down to AxKd and mb AdJx

Holy chit, I'm sorry I made a mistake I thought we are up against BTN.

I didn't see SB was in the pot. I kept saying CR but that's a mistake. Excuse me.

So yeah closing action preflop in a 3 way min 3bet pot with A6s is fine I think.

Say SB folded and we are up against BTN only, is it still optimum to flat min 3bet with A6s? I just don't like being oop vs BTN with a marginal A hand.
