[converted_hand][hand_history]$0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 3 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $97.05 (97.1 bb)
Hero (BB): $100 (100 bb)
BTN: $47.52 (47.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K 7
BTN raises to $2.87, SB calls $2.37, Hero folds

BU opens 45% but that is not his standardsizing so its prolly more 30%ish with that sizing. Hes rather weak and not so aggro postflop.
SB is a unknwon fish.

If I give both players a 30%range with SBs Range being slightly capped I have about 25% EQ pre. We need 22% to make the call but even tho everybody is fullstacked im not sure If I can realize my EQ here in order to make a profitable call ?
Additional question: what do you do with 94s here ?

You cannot just compute odds and call everything with the low required equity. The game does not end preflop, you have to realize your equity and also think about implied odds/reverse odds.
Besides I do not think SB should call 30% range here.

Thanks for ur comment dude.
SB is a fish so I think a capped 30% callingrange is pretty reasonable ?

I know that I just cant take the odds to find out whether I should call or not thats why I posted the hand
Its pretty close odds wise so I found myself folding that hand alot in the past in that spot. The question was if you think its rather a call than a fold.
Also, what would you do with a hand like 94s here ?

I defend my big blind pretty aggressively, but I think K7o is too loose here. You're almost never going to realize all your equity, you're not suited/connected, you're OOP & can get bluffed, and you're going to have RIO against a lot of hands.

K8o is pretty close though.

Prob fold 94s and start calling with 95s/96s.

Cant really squeeze this, but I've seen accomplished players say that would be fine. Would rather squeeze a suited hand, but you can take the hands that are just below the threshold of defending and using them as three bet bluffs.

So this is a limit poker hand?

No its nlhe.

Saw that there is a mistake in the hand above.
All players are fullstacked and BTN is a reg.

Sqz is probably too wide here but K7s definitely sound like an option and tbh I never considered that a sqz and always just flatted that.

Yeah can start squeezing some weaker suited combos like K2s or J5s
