If this is wrong place to post please forgive me and move to correct forum.

Trying to figure out how much bankroll I should keep. I play 100 6 max "Speed" poker at anonymous site. It's not uncommon for me to have 6 or 7 buy in down swing. I have been keeping 30 buy ins on site. Is that enough?

30 buy ins sounds about right to me.

When you talk about 6-7 buyin down swings is that in 1 session? If so you should probably set a stop loss for yourself. It is tough for most to play at or near their best when they are down 3 plus buys.

I stop loss at 4 currently. Sounds like I should stop at 3 though.

Use bigger bankroll(50 buyin + ) and don't set up a stop loss if you are still playing your A game. Having a bigger bankroll will make you feel less stressful when you run bad.
