Bovada, $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

UTG: $36.15 (36.2 bb)
MP: $25.54 (25.5 bb)
CO: $128.85 (128.9 bb)
Hero (BTN): $115.55 (115.6 bb)
SB: $99 (99 bb)
BB: $100 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A A
3 folds, Hero raises to $2, SB folds, BB calls $1

Flop: ($4.50) 6 3 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.50, BB raises to $8, Hero ?

I have 0 hands on villain. Do we call here or fold? If we call, what is our game plan on blanks/diamonds/5's and T's/A?

I say one call and hang around if another diamond falls (for the right price, of course...),

call obviously, you raised from the button

call any turn

Only turn I would be hesitant of is a 9

Okay. Yeah that's what I thought too. Wanted to make sure I played it right. Here's the rest of the hand history:

Turn : (20.5 BB, 2 players) 7
BB bets 14 BB, Hero calls 14 BB

River : (48.5 BB, 2 players) A
BB bets 22 BB, Hero calls 22 BB

Looks fine.

Considering you block flushes and that villain probably bets bigger with a flush, I don't mind a river shove. Also I heard bovada is fishy.

think that is an easy shove on the river tbh depending on how bad villain is

call flop call turn shove river if 3 pairs up. He could be check raising you with TT+ thinking its for value.

edit: didn't see you put the river in.

I doubt I'd fold any turn or river in this spot.

I think what we tend to forget is just how fishy Bovada small stakes can be. Any overpair I think villain is going to 3bet. Therefore I think it's safe to say he's either setmining, small connectors/suited, or Ax. Sounds like you played it just fine; and by the river I don't think you can fold (unless you are almost certain he has hit the flush).
