fkn lol. yeah i'm not worried about a reg who cold 3b 120bb on an incredibly dry flop vs strong ranges. i'm more worried about a 70bb fish who minraised me.

do not do this.........

its a monotone flop there are a ton of backdoors that will call 1/3-1/2 pot, and not too many hands that will spew into us. my plan is to bet 1/3 and go 60% on a lot of turns

[ ] monotone flop

Raise more preflop to isolate and go heads up.

AP fold, one of the two hands has you beat.

What was the outcome of this hand?

lol

the increased size of the pots you win thanks to those 6 limpers will never make up for the decreased frequency when you actually win the pot. do you actually play poker, your original statement only applies to GII pre scenarios, that's like super common sense.

I probably spoke too soon about AK but really that's shifting the goal posts any way since my original point was about AA. When I have more time I'll be back to illustrate my point with AA.

the only way to guarantee calls is to take a line thats -EV and lets your opponent call with great odds, and thats not even mentioning how stupid it is to have different sizing with strong holding and if someone ever picks up on it you will get crushed for -80bb/100 by them.

I never said I shouldn't size my raises appropriately but it has nothing to do with wanting people to fold so I can get heads up.

I'm folding here. Could be 99 over 1010 or 99,1010 over jq. Either way, I'm folding. I would have bet bigger on the flop btw.

Don't you guys think that the small blind might 5 bet pre with QQ,kk,and jj could be folded on that flop after a bet and min raise. I think majority of the time your hand might be good on this flop against a whalish and a decent player but the way this hand has played out I say a fold is a little more prudent. I think your small bet on the flop leaves you with less information also.

With this stackdeeps, I think its really likely SB gets to the flop with 99-QQ, however playing the flop this way seems kinda unlikely...

Snap folding, then getting a coffee while bitching at my computer.

Definitely a set looking to felt BTN.
