Hey 2+2,
6 max noob here. V was 24/20/8, 3bet OOP 10, AF 1.45 (bet v missed cbet 20), no fold to 4bet stat unfo (480 hands). He knows Im nit. SB was 35/28/7 (40 hands). Is my 4bet size too small? Thanks in advance for all answers!

SB: $55.13 (110.3 bb)
BB: $59.08 (118.2 bb)
MP: $35.78 (71.6 bb)
CO: $37.92 (75.8 bb)
Hero (BTN): $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A K
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, SB calls $1, BB raises to $6.50, Hero raises to $13, SB folds, BB calls $6.50

Flop: ($27.25) 8 J 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($27.25) J (2 players)
BB bets $9, [color="grey"]Hero?

First off, why 4bet pf? You fold out the hands worse than yours, with the exception possibly of AQ, AJ, KQ. When he calls or 5bets, what does he have that you beat? A huge portion of the top 10% are pairs. And they are bigger than 88. Otf against top 10% your win/loss is 31/69. After 4bet you should cb flop and then be done. Even that sucks bc you have bluffed off 2/3 of your stack.

I don't see a need to 4bet after the BB 6.5x's
